The defense camera pose in end zone needs to end

Remember Super Bowl LIV when the 49ers defense raced nearly the length of the field to strike a pose after a Patrick Mahomes' interception early in the fourth quarter.

Not a good idea.

KC scored touchdowns on each of its next three possessions.

Final score: Chiefs 31 49ers 20.

Play the game until the end and then celebrate your accomplishments.

Thankfully this trend hasn’t moved to Chicago. It’s the benefit of having a poor defense.

The Bears have 5 top line defensive players: Smith, Mack, Quinn, Hicks and Jackson. Mack and Hicks were out and Jackson got hurt in the first quarter. Hicks is the key to the run D and with him out, they got absolutely run over. But the D is getting old, and if Fields ever does figure things out, they likely will need to replace a number of defenders.

Here's what I've learned about NFL defenses: A team that fades in the second half of a game will fade in the second half of a season.

Unfortunately they didn’t force a punt yesterday.
