Well no kidding the pass was 'uncatchable'. Because the safety clearly interfered with the receiver. So you pick up the defensive PI flag? That's the whole point for the penalty. You don't see a receiver who prevents the defense from picking the ball because the ref said the defender couldn't pick it. Some of these penalties are mind boggling due to these zebras missing the point.

Defensive pass interference in the NFL was the most egregious penalty in sports until college football starting ejecting players for targeting.

Football needs fewer officials on the field and a few more eyes in the replay booth.

And, of course, the replay review needs to work as efficiently and effectively as tennis replay (Hawk-Eye).
