Nothing wrong with criticizing an avdertiser. Dont edit a persons complaints unless you find out the person is slandering the book. If hes telling truths and you are editing that says you are trying to hide something.

It is obvious to everyone that he is an rx guy[employee maybe] and kidslick is a good poster, but he's pro rx also. The great thing about this forum is opinions are welcome.
I wonder if I went over to the rx and posted my opinion along the same lines as toothpick's what would happen. I think I am still allowed to post over there! Maybe we'll see.

I just received an email from RX owner who tried to rub it in about how much more liked he is than me amongst the bookmakers abroad...

That's really not saying much, lol...

He is going out of his was to "DISS" me behind my back, too...

Whenever I phoned, he never returned the calls, but now says that due to this thread, he will not talk again with me...

He wasn't anyways, lol....

I introduced him to Marty, which was the biggest mistake I ever made....

I've read the threads that shrink is referring to. I don't have much issue with the editing of titles, I think the explanations given in most cases have been more than reasonable. However, I do have issues with them promoting and defending books like 9.com. 9.com is not a sportsbook, a sportsbook welcomes action, books like 9 are not real bookmakers, they're post up shops only, disguising as a sportsbook. Books like them should be shunned by the forums imo.

Shrink - The new owner of the Rx might be a dick and they might not be running the place the way you'd like to see it, but I'm uneasy with you revealing the identity of a poster in the forums. I would be pretty pissed off if it was me.

I was frustrated for a while on The Prescription about this type of activity as well. Once BetOnSports became an advertiser there, I posted about a negative experience I had with them a year or so ago. I also posted about how banner links to tout sites like Wayne Root's Winning Edge site degraded the Rx even more.

Eventually, my new posts were put on some sort of delay and would sometimes not even make it onto the site - even just normal posts not criticizing anything. It really has been getting out of hand there. I'll still contribute to their forums once in a while but it is not the same since The Shrink was there.

This is really silly. I think what is important is that we only give legitimate books like Cris , Heritage, Atlas, Hollywwod, and the many others our business. It is a must that we dont support the crooks of the industry like Betroyal and Betus/Omni. I think the Major over at that joke of a site Major Wager is a crooked liar as well. Lets focus on these important matters guys and gals.

I have never come across such exaggerators like I have since coming to the forums. Its really funny. I sneak Atlas into all my posts. Are you kidding me? The only reason I compliment Atlas and Heritage so much is because many people often say I need to talk about other things besides just bashing Royal and Betus. So thats what Im doing. The experience Ive had at Heritage and Atlas has been the complete opposite of what went down while a customer at Royal and Betus. These books actually have credibility because they pay their winners without hassles. No slow pays and lies for weeks and weeks like you experience when trying to get paid at Royal or Betus/Omni. The answer to your question is no. I wish. Im just giving credit to two books that Ive had great experiences with. Ill tell you the truth. Ive played at some of the top books like Olympic, Hollywwod, WWTS and Cris. None of those books compare to Heritage or Atlas. The people at these two books are so polite and generous Always trying to accomodate instead of getting over on you.

This thread is quite comical. The entire time shrink owned the RX, posts disappeared, were edited, threads Bodogged, etc... Much more than just a few thread titles. Posts were edited in a way that changed the meaning...etc...etc. And shrink commenting on bannings? lol, that's funny! That place was ban central!

I agree with the others that the current mods at RX are ridiculously clueless, but let's face it, the 'freedom of speech' over there is at a higher level than it ever was under shrink.

As shrink would say, 'PERIOD!'

I have to disagree with this, Kosar. I was a pretty active part of the Rx during the last few years and it was nothing like it is now. I even remember the stretch of time when Olympic Sports came back as an adverstiser, only to leave shortly afterward thanks to a negative post/discussion that took place. From what I remember, the posts and discussion stayed and Olympic walked as an advertiser. So even if it meant losing an advertiser, people were still able to post complaints and it was the mod's/Shrink's/whoever's job to facilitate - sometimes it meant defending the book, other times just trying to get both sides of the story out. Now Olympic is back as an advertiser both here and there. So in the end, it didn't matter - Olympic is still a top book in everyone's mind. But at least people had the chance to comment.

At this point, the censorship going on at The Prescription is getting as one-sided as it gets. They continue to defend how great BetOnSports is because they are high level advertiser. Yet half of the people posting there don't like using them. There was even a recent offer of a 20% re-up bonus at BoS for Prescription members and people talked about how they tried to take them up on it - but the BoS CS reps did not even know about it. That shows how low The Rx is on BoS's advertising totem pole - the opposite for the Rx's relationship with them.

Comments on sportsbook.com at The Prescription is another example. A few us post messages about positive experiences with sportsbook.com and the mod's there fire back with stories about how they steal money from players. But I'm sure if they advertised on there, they would feel different.

I think everyone can understand these sites are a business and obviously no one in charge is going to blatantly bad-mouth their own advertisers. They have to protect their revenues to some degree, but there are different ways of going about it. The Prescription use to be much more objective in handling posts/comments than it is now.

There is some great constructive criticism here. I remember when Raiders, BeantownJim, JJGold, and others who post (or posted) here, were posting machines at the Rx and were banned under the ownership of Ken. No biggie, Ken can ban them if he wants, just like he can have them post here.

If I were a sportsbook, I would be a little leery of posters with agendas. These sites are full of them for various reasons. Not everyone can be like Pinnacle (unfortunately). Some complains are legit and others are a joke. Do you think Sports Illustrated writes editorials about how bad some of their sponsors/advertisers are or print letters to the editor about them? I think there can be a conflict of interest when taking advertising money and running a "watchdog site". I understand why the Rx does edit, don't always agree with it, but its what pays the bills.

Many times there are problems with sportsbooks, is because of bonus-whores that try a new book (like Nine), then find out its not to their liking and publically call them out constantly.

Ken, you run a great site here, as does the Rx. The internet is big enough for more quality sites. The constant bashing by people about them just takes away from yours. The rock-solid information, from gaming news to ODU games is what keeps people coming back.

Lastly, most people by now know that the main guy who owns RX is also the head of RIO/SKYBOOK...

I don't see a major problem with that although some might argue there is....

But after repeated phone calls to him were ignored, I have decided to share something that is even more troubling and very WRONG...

The Poster named WEEKENDALKY over there is actually none other than that SAME HEAD of THE RX and the main guy at RIO/SKYBOOK that I sold the Rx to...

He is blatantly SHILLING so much over there but I ignored it, until I saw him DEFEND the Rx practice of editing posts, so now I decided it was time to blow the whistle...

The RX was left with a good product and they don't need to deceive people like this...

Posters deserve to be heard and I find all of this APPALING to say the least!

As most people/poster who have known me for the past few years are already are aware of, I'm as easy going as it gets.

So when someone such as myself began to get threads edited and some very strong wise cracks thrown my way for no justifiable reason(s) , it was time to move on......

Never had any of that poster review crap either... It is a nice tool, but can be and is too easily abused.

While we are on that subject, what do you think of the Royal/Tej connection?
