All refs tried their best. Who cares, it's just a game. If you bet NFL, at a minimum, you are one silly SOAB.
The voice in the ref's earpiece was never more prominent than in the AFC Championship Game.

The whole crew was bad, not just black officials.
I was brought up with the idea if the refs beat you, you don't deserve to win......
But come on, do-over plays? Then when KC still can't convert a PI call on 5th down and 9?
No roughing on Burrows throughout the game, Mahomes wins the game with those clown antics on the side line?
Not just the 3 step and hit on Burrows but Jones drove him in the ground long after the ball was gone on another play.
And always a hold or block in the back when needed.
Last "drive" by KC was all refs.....
No call on the 30 yard return with an obvious block in the back and when that wasn't enough then the "hit" out of bounds to win it.
Overall the visitors in the 2 games had 20 accepted penalties yesterday, the home team had 4 each.
There's your home field advantage.
Chiefs only had 4 all game but none when it mattered most, as the game progressed they amazingly quit committing penalties all together.
If they call the game fairly give me Philly in the big one.

The rare occasion a rule is in question I could see it, get with New York, sitting up there all game to blindly support whatever is called on the field?
They just basically endorse opinions on judgement calls on the field.

I have a conspiracy theory I've been working on. I believe there are AI referees in constant development. Female refs are the means of information transformation from database to on court/field. The female ref does absolutely zero on her own.
This goes deeper, much deeper. We have seen females play (NHL goalie), coach (Spurs), and work their way up through management. These ventures have profited zero for those who see these leagues as a business and nothing else. Female refs work because they are the AI remote control bots.

The NBA bosses know that adding several female officials mostly is political. Some of them are average, but they're never going to be among the highest rated.
If they are then there should be playoff crews with three female officials. Eventually it may happen during the regular season, but it'll only be games that don't matter much.
