Two-finger salute

Handshakes are no longer smart.

Knucklebashes still require contact.

Elbow bumps are wasted motion.

A military salute is too stiff, too formal.

How about a two-finger salute?

That arm position with the hand rotated giving the back side of a two-fingered V.

That two-fingered "salute" pretty much sums up my general sentiment today, or it would in Britain anyway.

We were due for a Mile High sports initiated salute to respect recognition in due time. Can you hear me now Terrell Davis?

If I am so inclined and in a social mood, which is not too often, I go with the head nod.

LOL, this fits me best too. It's a nod, slight one at best, and move right along.

Good to see you back Billy, we often don't agree but you certainly make it more interesting around here.

I like the head nod or head bob, too.

How about a finger-point acknowledgement like basketball players use for a teammate who just delivered a sweet assist?
