McCain accepted bribes from John Keating that should have ended his political career. How is that any worse and worse than Manafort?
McCain was a 2-time failed presidential candidate. The race against Obama was pathetic. Got rolled. Instead of retiring like Dole, went back to the Senate and squated his seat until the end.
McCain not only attacked Trump from the debutantè of Trump’s campaign, he participated in the spying scandal by giving James Comey a copy of the Steele Dossier. I don’t know why. Already was used for the phony FISA’s. We will get the whole story soon.
McCain was a mean, vindictive, bitter, angry loser who never saw a war against brown people he didn’t support. He became a media darling by opposing his own party. He blamed Palin for his embarrassing loss to Obama. He held a grudge on Trump to the end. He gleefully killed Obamacare reform with his dramatic thumbs down. His biggest legislative triumphs have been disasters (campaign finance reform, college betting ban). He was a fake war hero asshole and I am glad his seat will finally go to somebody else. Flake seat will be replaced too!
RIP, Johnny.
McCain was a right-wing Republican, but the loudest tributes to his political record are coming from Democrats. Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer proposed renaming the US Senate’s Russell Office Building. Instead of Richard Russell of Georgia, a Democratic Party defender of Jim Crow segregation, the building would now be named after a Republican defender of wars in Vietnam, Central America, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, etc.
Speaking on ABC’s “This Week,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said, “Right now I'm just heartbroken. I think America’s in tears about the loss of this great man.”
In yet another characteristic display of lickspittling subservience to the ruling elite, “socialist” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: “John McCain’s legacy represents an unparalleled example of human decency and American service. As an intern, I learned a lot about the power of humanity in government through his deep friendship with Sen. Kennedy. He meant so much, to so many. My prayers are with his family.”
What does John McCain’s “legacy” consist of? How did he provide “an unparalleled example of human decency and American service”?
McCain spent four years in the House of Representatives and 32 years in the US Senate, but it would be impossible to cite a single piece of legislation with which he was associated that benefited the broad mass of the American people.

McCain’s Profane Tirade At His Wife
By Nick Juliano Raw Story

John McCain’s temper is well documented. He’s called opponents and colleagues “shitheads,” “assholes” and in at least one case “a fucking jerk.”...
Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain’s intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt.” McCain’s excuse was that it had been a long day.

Bob Dole is the real war hero and real Lion of the Senate. Not Ted Kennedy. Not KKK Byrd. Not John McCain. When Dole dies, there will be praise but nothing like this. McCain is being praised because he hated Trump and stabbed his own party in the back.

He was a war hero of the highest order.

Keep in mind mccain was the one to give the FBI the "dossier" that started this entire ugly witch hunt, he was blinded by hate, nothing more. America is a far better place without him in it.
John McCain’s funeral will spotlight some of the late senator’s political rivals — but some of his closest campaign aides are being excluded from the proceedings. Three of the most prominent members of his 2008 presidential campaign — campaign manager Steve Schmidt, senior adviser Nicolle Wallace and longtime strategist John Weaver — were not invited to any of McCain’s services, according to three people familiar with the guest list.
