Bill Edler => I do not know him personnally. He spends about 90% of his gambling time on live in-casino poker, but he does take his sports betting seriously. I have been able to hear him on the Leroys radio program about 6 times. On the radio program, he has talked primarily about sports betting. He is no tomato can. He is a true opponent for The Shrink. Edler will really put genuine effort into his picks for this tournament.
Edler is low key, soft spoken. Does not fit any stereotype of what a pro gambler should be like. Given the way he speaks, obviously well educated.
I would rate the match-up a toss-up -- partly because The Shrink also is juggling a lot of projects that compete for his time. However, The Shrink has friends who offer him sports betting assistance-advice.
If you cannot attend in person -- and who can when the show is at 10 p.m. Pacific (1 a.m. Eastern) -- then you can listen on the internet live or delayed (archived on the Leroys web site). Look for my posts about Leroys (in this thread) for details re how to listen.

i IM'd him wednesday before he left and asked if he had some possible plays in mind and he said he did but obviosuly nothing concrete until he sees what the lines are
