Very positive joint visits (EOG, TOW and SBR) today

I mentioned the new agreement between EOG, SBR and TOW the other day.

The Alliance went from talking the talk to walking the walk today.

We've made joint visits to several books today including BetonSports, with a sit down with their CEO David Carruthers, Hollywood, Royal Sports, BetUS and Bet4aces.

Different books with different histories and much different situations.

The overall impression is that bookmakers perceive the alliance as a very positive factor. Specially in two visits, Royal Sports and BetUS, the joint effort to help books match industry standards or improve their policies appears to be more effective when the proposing party is a coalition of respected watchdog services.

John, Ken, General and myself are positively impressed by this new approach and the bookmakers' perception of it.

I will be posting detailed reports on these visits in the coming days.

I seriously hope this was a misprint...

The only thing to be said to Royal is when Tej pays back all the people he stole from then he might be qualifed to be the piss-boy at Giant Stadium...

Another Day, Another Dollar
We just came back from dinner with guys from Atlas and Horizon. Great meeting tonight. We met with 5dimes today also. I was truly impressed with the comradery displayed by all. It was such a pleasure to sit down with the top brass and discuss ways to make this industry better for everyone. I would have never guessed I would be in the offices discussing the direction of this industry with the likes of Ron Sacco and David Carruthers.

Please don't take this as "pissing on the parade", but what exactly will this alliance do? How will this alliance be different from any other past attempt at industry conformity?

I'm reminded of the great alliance formed years ago to agree on an industry 20 cent baseball standard.....That lasted about a half season.

What are the immediate goals with the alliance? Thanks

I wasn't part of this meeting, but I did meet with the TOW fellas in MIAMI for dinner and I think that the alliance between SBR,TOW and EOG will provide gamblers a stronger counsel when problems arise with sportsbooks, forums and other industrial hazards
It is also an advantage for the sportsbooks to have a team to investigate and expose scammers.

This agreement will have it's critics for sure ,but if JOHN, ROBERTO and KEN can work together to help gamblers I think it's an advantage for all of us!

TOW has lowered its standards. Now they are lobbying everyone else to do the same so they don't stand out.

The whole ordeal is disgusting.

They seem to think nice meetings with the managers and fancy offices can offset a book's dirty past and debts.

An alliance is bad for the industry which is the reason why monopoly's are bad for consumers.

From recent history these meetings don't mean much either. There was a big sit down a couple of years ago right before an RX party. Nothing came from this meeting just as nothing came from meeting PanAM.

Meeting bookmakers is a good thing but let's not blow this out of proportion thinking that players funds are more secure because of a meeting.

Betus slow-payed me a long time ago...don't know if I can forgive them for that even though they are under new management now..

And TOW has been helping people out at BetUS that have bonus problems. So an alliance would benefit us as anyone here could ask The Shrink, to ask ally Boberto for a hand. Not only does it not compare to a monopoly, it does not even have a majority of participants in the business. Hey, like it or not these past sinners and we hate you from way back books are here to stay. Thier money spends just like anyone else's. In fact, look at BOS at RX, they pay hefty for that Platinum membership. Protection, shilling, coverup the past, the you know, platinum advertiser's package. Plus with competition being what it is, everybody is going after the market share. If you combine or just ally sites, the combined strength is much greater than the standalone. Have the Allies ever lost a war?

Been around them since they started. The last meeting was even worse, as it accomplished absolutely nothing, as in crashed and burned on the runway. The big Vegas get together. Only thing is, no one came away together. Is anyone's money any safer. Most likely not. But if these guys are talking and not at war, (presently), at least there is dialogue. And if I get stuck with a problem at BetUS, I want The Shrink to not be at war with Roberto, and ask him if he can help an EOG poster. He has some contacts there and gets results. If a place blows up, nothing much any of the sites can do anything. But day to day jerkarounds, especially bringing in known jerkaround books can only help. I would never be unhappy to have more resources to work in my behalf.

Shrink sided with BetUS in the MFG case. There are complaints against both Oly and Pinny although the watchdog sights have absolutely no power concerning these bigger books as they do what they want. Mansion tells the sites to F off and threatens them with law suits. Like I said you are too green.

FROGS are green. I have been doing this before there were offshores. I have never had a beef with a major, and the minors were usually resolved quickly, with the help of watchdog sites. I have seen all the real bad debacles, Ace's, BetPanAm, Dunes, Premeire, some of the smaller ones. We were some of the first guys offshore. Only thing I am saying is, this could help with smaller beefs.

JC- Originally BetUS and MFG both agreed to let Shrink arbitrate the case. MFG was paid what Shrink ruled and both MFG and BetUS signed a contract.

Immediately afterwards MFG broke the contract and accused Shrink of being on the take.

I spent many days (not just hours) getting involved
for one of the players.

After I heard "BOTH SIDES", I ruled that one of the
players should received a 5 figure payout that was
rightfully his...

I didn't think he should receive any of the bonus
money because NASA gave me enough proof to believe he
was not entitled to it...

The player agreed to my decision, and also agreed that
once he received the 5 figure payout, he would NEVER
complain about NASA on a forum, or through litigation.

In other words, he agreed to HONOR a SETTLEMENT...

This did not happen! Nor did he ever hint to to me
that he would not HONOR his word...

Immediately after he cashed the payout, he renigged on
the agreement that I had worked so hard on between
himself and Little Nasa..

I find it very hard to deal with these guys who seem
to be in cohoots with one another, especially when it
comes to posting, but perhaps even betting.

All you get to see on this forum is what each party
types, but believe me, there is much more to these
cases than can be printed in one thread (except maybe
one by Patrick's, lol)...

Once I give my "word" on a deal, then no matter what,
I have to honor it...

MYFOOTBALLGAME didn't do that and gives the lame
excuse he only agreed to the "settlement" in order to
get something back.

Furthermore, in the past, when I spend this much time
to help gamblers, they'd be so appreciative.

I ask for nothing back in return, excpet maybe a thank
you...

But to imply I am "on the take," and then to
deliberately start a thread about how great SBG GLOBAL
is (when they both knew I was robbed for over 92k by
them) shows just what type of characters we are
dealing with

New management???? Rizzo brothers still runs the show...BetUS is a shit hole,

- There is no Reduce Juice
- Vanilla Lines - they simply copy paste lines from DB
- Bonus structure is terrible...

No Cash Bonus only Free Play : they only let you bet straight bets or 2/3 team teasers, no parlays.

a) you cannot bet a team with a money line that is higher than -160 with your free play.

b) they will double up your rollover requirements if you are playing baseball.

- If you are hitting some straight bets in a row,

they will pull you out a 50%/50% rule, meaning that your action must be 50% Straight and 50% Totals..

then if you win using this 50-50 rule...

they will tell you "50% favorite action and 50% underdog action"

or "50% ToT over action and 50% ToT under action."

or ......

they will limit your action at $250.00 per bet...

imagine yourself betting $250 a game when you have a rollover requirement of $45000.

-Also They will charge you $35 if you request a FEDEX payout and they will send it via regular mail.

- They will make up costarican holydays with the sole intention of no paying out.

-they will tell your credit card copies are not legible evendough they are perfect copies,their staff will force their clients to send them over upto 5 times!!!!!!, most clients eventually will give up and simply spend their balance.

What a shit hole!!!

Interesting, Shrink told me directly that he thought MFG was getting screwed by BetUS in the original deal but he only suggested he take it because that was as good as it was going to get. I guess we'll wait to hear from him.

Regardless, alliance or no, with so many industry "insiders" thinking BetUS is a piss-hole I certainly hope this site listens...

Talking and meeting with slimeball books is one thing, but before an ad dollar is accepted they should be required to clean up all their old baggage.
