Thoughts on the new Survivor contest ($5K) & College Football contest (7 selections each week) $500. They have also bumped the Super Contest up to $1500 per entry.

I figure the College contest will do well since there is not much competition for it plus it’s only $500. I would think the 5K Survivor contest will hit about 2500 entries with many groups teaming up.

I'd set over under at 1800 on survivor and college. These dirtbag proxies can use app too so that's a plus

I dont like the increase of the supercontest from 1000 to 1500. Bad move imo.

Love the $500 cfb with up to 10 entries. This will be massive

The golden nugget dog fkd the only cfb contest in town for years. No promotion. No proxy allowed. Would take forever to post the submitted plays every week.

Glad westgate stepped up.

Survivor isnt my thing.

Should expand the supercontest gold to pay top 3 to see if that drawsvin more. Or say 100k to the leader after week 9. Then keep the solo end of the year winner.

Next thing is a college football survivor contest.
Big 10 and SEC only
14 weeks
Or maybe only teams in the AP top 25 listed

More contests is always better.

Westgate Survivor, as I view their website, doesn't even have any rules yet (18 picks?).

At $5K per entry, I think they will really struggle to get over 1,000 entries. Circa Survivor will probably get around 15,000 at $1K but might lose some high-end entries to Westgate.

It was 1500 back when I got 3rd place in the yr 2000

Did you actually mean 100 entries for the 5k survivor?

I'd take the under on 1,000 entries

I think they BLOW PAST that. The estimate is 20k. Not sure we get that high but I do think we top 18k and the guarantee will be $20M

I'm hearing WG might go a bit earlier, but 10 would be solid.

Definitely hoping they use a Friday evening deadline and they should to keep things better organized. It will be nice seeing most of the picks before the Saturday games begin.

I was unaware GN no longer allowed proxies. I haven't entered GN for a few years, but always used one when I entered.
