Rooms available for about $75/night.

A rate of only $31.99 for a premium room and then a ridiculous resort fee of $38.54.

And don't forget about Nevada's 13.38% room tax.

Come to think of it, gamblers should be protesting in the streets, too.

I'm outraged by the massive hold percentages attached to future-book odds in Las Vegas and elsewhere.

Here's an interesting note about Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab inside The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace: The cost of a 24-ounce aged rib eye is $79.95.

Joe's tacks on a 4% surcharge for COVID-19.

The manager claims the surcharge is optional.

Good.

Then take it off my bill.

yep , i read somewhere that businesses would pass along the flu fees to customers. There are fees for homeland security after 9/11 on travel. At some point it has to hurt business.

Here is a better one. all stores inside casinos have no prices on their products. I went in and got two bags of beef jerky. they wanted to charge me 11.95 a bag. I put them back. Now I make sure I go shopping before driving to Vegas.

Their surge pricing idea. Of all things, that's gotta piss customers off the most if they realized what they are doing. Its not like they charge you $1 a bag if its a slow day and nothing is selling, its always a high price but they reserve the right to charge even more figuring some customers don't care or are using their points which they may not really value much.

There is a person on my instagram that appears to be the daughter of someone involved with the westgage ownership. The name is Janessa Siegel. Lives quite the lifestyle. Anyone see her around?

I thought Vegas might go back to old school pricing for a little while to get people back an feeling good.
Room rates, food and drink specials1.99 breakfast and such.
Apparently not, I imagine Westgate will still have their 17 dollar cheeseburger in the sports book snackbar.

Shop the ABC stores, they were pretty fairly priced.

It's two things actually. One is a convenience fee. It's a massive pain in the ass to go drive somewhere off strip for cheaper prices. By the time you go do that, you've wasted an hour. Is that really worth it to save $3? And second, they pay an exorbitant amount in rent for their stores on the strip. They can't charge the same as a 7-11 in Pahrump and make money.

I heard a plan to brighten the lights inside the SuperBook when the operation reopens.

Good idea, long overdue.

They need to relook that whole sportsbook deli thing, the food is subpar and overpriced

How is it overall in vegas, i will be there next month? I hear reports that it's fairly dead, then others say it's surprisingly busy, which is it?

Depends on where you go. MERLIN.

Busy today at both Wynn Las Vegas and MGM Mirage.

The parking lots are loaded with California visitors.

MGM Mirage marketers produced this clever line for a billboard: Remember where you parked, but forget about paying for it.

Weekends are good with the drive in business so far but weekdays are really hurting, especially now that the locals have already gone out to the Strip for an after lockdown escape. Good friend of mine with MGM said they have gotten a lot of concern from locals about the lack of distancing and masks, worried it will be brought in from out of state so it may continue to be slow on weekdays.

Totally agree it's been way too long that futures have not been regulated, sickening to see strip sportsbooks take advantage of the recreational player.

Is there a regulation in terms of a window that sportsbooks have to stay within for futures bets?

The same way some states set a max % a check cashing place can charge a person.
