Conducting yourself like the Shrink did, lying cheating and stealing over at the RX was what he did wrong and you deciding to follow is a big hit to you also General. Personally glad to see this place struggling mightily compared to the RX. Shrink deserves the bad carma, no question about it. Truly disgusting, that man. Flat out lied to me personally over at the RX on the issue and one thing I cannot stand is a liar.

I don't think you guys are doing anything wrong. The one thing that frustrates me is the fact that a lot of knowledgeable posters are spread out on different sites, making it much harder to have an in depth discussion on gambling topics.When is the last time shrink,judge,Dickyw,Peep, Pancho, Blue, drunkguy etc...., all added value and input into the same thread? 2003?

Guess I somewhat miss reading decenting opinions, I actually think I learned more then, then now when everyone just copys a topic and brings it to another site where everyone at that site has the same opinion and just piles on.

As I posted above, not your issue and don't think there is anything you can do about it, but I think it is the one downside to all these "forums".

Where do you get that EOG is "struggling mightily"?? Almost 1500 members (a good percentage active in the forum) in what, 6 months?? A lot of good sportsbooks on board, a great group of mods and posters

And I'm sure the best is yet to come. Whether you like Shrink personally or not, you can't doubt that the man is a genius (that's fact)

Not a bad start at all for EOG if you ask me (Yeah, I know nobody asked me) :+textinb3

That is my question too actually, MLB - looks like MC right now, Basketball - Panther (get well soon buddy), Hockey - nobody, what else is there?

I don't recall a MISS (or Mrs.) EOG in Vegas. Would definitely catapult EOG to the front... or rear... (depending upon personal preference...)

Yes the site is young, and yes the site is doing ok....but like any forum....it is only as good as the members make it.....

Articulate members, good posts, good picks, good fun = great forum....

My 2 pennies..Shrink probably made mistakes in his handling of the Rx. No doubt it in itself was a huge success. Somewhere along the way, we all make mistakes. Shrink had a good thing at the Rx and for his own reasons sold it. Profit motive, I guess. And there's nothing wrong with that in itself. This site will have it's growing pains like all children do. None of us can look back and say the proverbial..."what if". Makes no difference NO HOW. We live only in the present, but hopefully have our values of the past intact of what's right. There are lies and damm lies...plus the little white ones they say which don't hurt anyone. I'm not at all sure of any of that. But I think the key is perservance or to state it in simple language...Keep on keepin on. Time is certain. We all know what we like and what we don't. We change with time...And dat's a fact mam!

All's fair in Love and war they say....I think at times we have to draw a line in the sand. I don't know that all that Jay Cohen say's is gospel, but I do know that he stood up for his personal belief's. And that takes 2nd place to NO-One. Shrink, would have preferred, (I'm guessing to stay away from BoS). He may have nned the cash and he may truly believe they are a changed "man". I dun know!
Jay C.....took a step past 'just "Talking the talk"...he risked what I would think is precious...his freedom. I'm not sure of that or if he had other reason's to step into the pure gambling market. No-doubt...he was successfull where he was working...but had a vision for greater things. I totally salute him for what he did and I understand his grief with EOG taking on BoS, caause He's definately a man of principle....a Rare Commidity in any Market!!

Love the freedom of speech here. The mods are great and quick to answer questions. The contests are fun also.

I hate that BoS and Mill are here. And I hate that Shrink was bashing them up until the last minute. And bashing others for taking money from them.

Just a Square's opinion...

Jealous? You would have to be one sick person to be jealous of the Shrink. He is the exact polar opposite of how I would want to act and be. Not sure how he can even live with himself with the shit he has pulled. I agree with Jwdog that because of the number of forums that the good posters in one forum has been waterd down but this isn't EOG's problem it's more of a blanket statement on sports gambling forums. It's similar to baseball expansion. When you have more teams you get some bad SPs.

The only thing I haven't liked is a scammer such as Royal Basher being allowed to beat a dead horse. We got his point day one but he had to post it 5000 more times.

Overall EOG is a great forum and I don't see any need for change. Great work guys.

The SHRINK is a household name in this business!! GET USED TO IT!! I've never seen the man working as hard as he has lately, so watch out. THINGS MAY GET ALITTLE KRAZY!!

EOG is great. The only thing I would change is allowing posters to schill for known scam books is just wrong. Everything else is great.
