What do you guys think of this NFL rule change idea?

NO single-point conversions. ALL conversion attempts would be 2 points.

The single pointer is automatic... uness you're Roger Ruzik. Why not really add some excitement to the game and make it mandatory to go for 2 every time?

The extra-point conversion was not automatic in the New England/Oakland game last Thursday. Also, mandatory 2 pointers would totally throw off the values of numbers as it now stands. It would suck.

In 2004, 10 of 1184 converts were missed. You don't call that automatic? Of the 10, how many were meaningful? Please spare us.

Remmeber the Saints latteral the ball like 6 times and then getting the touchdown? I think the score was 20-19 before the kick. The kicker missed it and i think they also missed the playoffs. Was it last year or year before?

Yeah, that was wild (a couple years back). But I do agree that it is essentially an automatic thing.

I was thinking they should just give 7 points for a TD. Then if you go for two and miss, you only get 6. :D

January 2, 2004 .... one of the most surreal 60 seconds in sports history.
