Some people are strongly for free speech. So much so that they are happy to allow all kinds of crap to be posted.

IME it seems SBR is, relative to EOG, not so "freedom of speech" crazy & does deal with some of the crap. But not nearly enough or quick enough.

TheRx is even better than SBR in dealing with & getting rid of crap.

Several non sports forums i'm on are even - and much -better at crap extermination than theRx.

So there is IME a range of crapola extermination, from next to nil at EOG to very much at certain non sports forums.

The days of forum mods are ancient history. It's now in the hands of the forum owner to clean up the threads in the "when they get to them" mode stage.

Also, due to lack of sponsorship and funds from the forum limits the mods' creativity and leeway to promote events like contests and perks from what they can offer.

Hi Everyone
I have been banning tons of new users, I'm gonna block the new registration for a little while
unfortunately this spammers have a way to bypass the StopForumSpam database.
I'm blocking IPs, banning users and deleting users.
Will check other options
