Why we need another Matchbook

#1
With a line of Joey chestnut -1800 +829 at ray corbinos favorite book, how could you bet either side at that ridiculous spread. I remember matchbook where you can basically bet either side with as little as a 1cent spread. The book would make a 2cent commision effectively laying -103. Even halftimes had vigs where you could get +money instead of laying money. Looks like people care more about action than price.

matchbook was amazing.

Towards the end they even had a dynamic bankroll thingie that if you closed out your scalp, they didnt hold your money till completion of the game/event but you got full use of your money right away.

Is matchbook still around in some other country?

You guys should see this SBK book in Colorado. Basically a modified version of an exchange. They can't offer exchange yet in Colorado per regulations, but they basically setting incredibly thin margins and risk managing off the pricing of the UK exchange. Check out this example I'm seeing now, but most big soccer leagues are like this:

Lazio +144
AC Milan +235
Draw +240

My calculator says that's an effective 0.25% house edge.

Or for the same game:

Both teams to score?
Yes -130
No +124

The line -1800, +829 has a hold % of about 5.21%, obviously not in the league of Matchbook, but its a bit better than -112/-112 or a symmetric 24 cent lne.

Fuck Matchbook. When I was having slow pay problems at WSEX, I wanted to start transferring my WSEX funds there, since there was some connection between the 2. They turned it down. I also asked if I funded it another way first, and then did a WSEX transfer, would that be acceptable? Same answer.

Dear xxxxxxxxx

Thank you for signing up to Matchbook. Here is a list of our current deposit options for US based customers:

Bank Wire: Normally credited to your account within 5 to 10 working days. Please contact us for full details. Please note that we are unable to accept wires from Bank of America.

Interbook transfer: You can instantly transfer funds at no cost between Matchbook and most major sportsbooks, including Pinnacle, BetCris, BetJamaica, Olympic, and 5Dimes.

To transfer funds to or from your Matchbook account, simply email accounts@matchbook.com and the corresponding book with the following information: your full name, user name at both books, and the amount you wish to transfer. The relevant emails at other books are as follows: csd@pinnaclesports.com (Pinnacle), banking@betjm.com (BetJamaica), accounts@thegreek.com (Olympic), and info@5dimes.com (5 Dimes). Please contact BetCris via live chat or call US US +1 8669266562 Call in order to have transfers approved.

Unfortunately we cannot accept interbook transfer deposits from WSEX in order to fund new accounts. We are licensed by the government of Antigua and Barbuda, one of the world's most rigorous jurisdictions for online wagering. Local regulations preclude the use of transfers within Antiguan jurisdiction to fund a new account.

Gold-Pay: This is an e-wallet platform similar to Neteller. In order to transfer funds to Matchbook, simply register with Gold-Pay and fund your Gold-Pay account by e-check or check with Gold-pay for any new deposit options. We fully reimburse your 3.5% deposit fee from your Gold-Pay to Matchbook account via Commission Credits. Restrictions: Min $15/Max $3,000 per transaction; $3,000 per day, $6,000 per week, and $24,000 per month.

Matchbook is working hard to offer secure ways for you to transfer funds to and from your Matchbook account. If you need any assistance, please feel free to contact me by e-mail, live chat (via our Contact Us page) or telephone.

Kind Regards,

Please cancel transfer request. Since my Matchbook account is newly opened, they would not accept my first deposit from another Sportsbook in Antigua.
