Why they have to keep the White House other than the obvious that they don't want to lose Samantha Powers. McCarthy could shut down Lawfare against Trump. I doubt he would but he could and a whole bunch of other things to cinch Trump's late but not never reelection. They have to keep the White House. They can do it if there is no Speaker.
