Work Today and Tomorrow

Does anyone else here have to work today and tomorrow. I was one the chosen few who get to work 7 pm - 7 am, this lovely holiday weekend. I work at power generating plant that has to be manned 24/7. I'll make alot of money this weekend, but its not worth it at all. I would rather be spending time with my family.

nope, no volunteers, and since I'm the low person on the overtime list, I got stuck. It won't happen next year.

I had yesterday off but went in for triple time. I could not pass that up knowing that I do not have to go back to work until Jan 4. Hope everyone has a great Christmas.

I'll be going in sometime tomorrow. Usually I try and encourage those without kids to work for the ones with little ones. That is who the holiday is most important to.
Working in Vegas casinos you find there are no holidays. Most holidays require OT, for example New Year's one shift will be working 12 hours. Fortunately, Christmas is slow around here.
