A lot of people say they know a lot. Absolutely no one is willing to prove it. Most people that do start talking about it expose themselves so it is better for them to not say anything.
A picks forum without a writeup or analysis has no value to anyone (exception to the sportsbooks) because of the give a shit factor. There is no way to tell how much effort was put into making the pick.
Not be too negative but let's create a positive contest with a mythical 10 K for each poster. - one poster to a thread - nothing else in it - poster grades his own stuff. Anyone can go in and see all of Johnny the Jet's picks for the last week or so at a quick glance with a current balance.
Let's see touts and pickerds do it this way where all the smoke and mirrors are gone. The money is what matters not the short term winning streaks. BTW, what's our balance if we would have bet a $100 on every pick in this forum in the last month?

I don't agree with you on your other point.....
If I know a poster bets "real money" and is sucessful,and has proven this over time,then I will follow blind,and no need for a writeup.....
you think if I get a msn message from someone who gets BW or Tiger,with a play that reads
# 101 over go.....
I will be like,"umm excuse me sir,can you have BW send me his write up...thanks"
by the time I'd be done typing writeup my screen would be black.....

Hi BlackLab. No, I was just speaking of the picks forum here. I'm not aware that Tiger or Billy post here. LOL I have heard there are some very hard working cappers in our forum - but someone could go 5-0 with some hard earned picks and then throw in the Lakers on the next pick just to have a pick (I'm hot). We all lose - now that sucks - the write up may not be the whole thing but I think it would give away enough information as to whether the capper is really working at it or not.

On one hand, I'd love to do it. On the other hand, many of my numbers aren't what you would consider widely available. Plus like Lab mentioned I'd be going without writeups mostly because otherwise while I'm typing up a writeup and checking my spelling and all the line is dissappearing...
