2024 NFL

Really poorly officiated game IMO.

I lost count on how many penalties have been called on the Jet DB's.

I mean just small time hand stuff was called, several inside the 10 yard line. Let them play!

Also bad call against Vikes on roughing the punter penalty. That briefly gave the Jets life. That was a 5-yarder.

Top is right, Rodgers going down QUICKLY. That's the thing with superstars from yesterday.......

The talent leaves but the smugness and attitude remains.

What was Buffalo doing?, they're on their own 5 with a little over 40 seconds. Get into OT. They try these ridiculous low percentage pass plays hoping for PI, nothing...then have to punt deep from their end zone. Predictably, HOU gets great field position, game, set match

Rams really miss Kupp. 4th and 5 late no go to guy. Kupp usually double teamed still finds a way to get 5 yards.

Rams done...

Thanks brother, right back at you.

I'm good, biggest danger for us will be all the water.

Let's hunker down and make some money this weekend.
McIrish, I hope you make it through this Hurricane okay, Milton looks like it means business, I see on the news a lot of people in the Tampa area evacuating, I don't know exactly where you live, but it looks like you might be right in the path, I live a little South of where it's projected to make landfall, and will get a whole lot of nasty, but nothing like what the West Coast will get, stay safe man, wising you the best for you and your family

My sister lost her home in Zillow at St Pete…now she has to evacuate again while she was cleaning up the ruins of the first hurricane…what a nightmare

Oh man, sorry to hear that VD.

Yeah when they come back to back it can really get messy. Trying to get situated and still working with your insurance when another comes.

A few years ago it was B2B2B, got 3 in a row, now that was a nightmare.

I brushed off Helene but yes this one is a little more concerning for where I am. As always you're all class Kane, thanks buddy.

I made it through the Hurricane okay, a little rain and some big wind gusts, but nothing serious, check in McIrish when you can, hope you made it through in good shape

The only NFL team not to score in the first quarter this season….you guessed it…

Philadelphia Eagles….

Philly fans are calling for Sirianna’s head….can’t blame them

Something isn't right with them, I don't follow them so can't put my finger on it, but something just doesn't seem right, a long way to go and I'm not throwing my Eagles SB ticket in the garbage, but on paper they should be better than they seem

I thought this going back to last year on the Eagles. Something seemed off, looked like they just weren't invested.

Mentioned it earlier in the prop bet talk on Hurts, starts with him on offense and at times he just looks disinterested.

For sure smells like a club house issue, not just a player here or there.

BTW all good here Kane, other than just getting my power back today the rest is all about par for the course.

We (happily) move on.

Dak being Dak

it appears to be the coach...

The biggest surprise from that article is that the Jets gave Alan Lazard a 4 year $44 million contract. In what universe is that justifiable? One season over 525 receiving yards. They already have Garrett Wilson, who's a legit #1 WR. And Williams on a 1 year $10 million deal but apparently in Rodgers doghouse now.

Amari Cooper to the Bills for a 3rd rounder. Surprised the Browns got as much back for Cooper as the Raiders got for Adams. Cooper has deteriorated quickly.

The Lazard contract and love fest reminds of the time Lebron was in Cleveland and the contract he got for Tristan Thompson.

Was he that bad this year? He was robbed on the 75-yard TD a couple of weeks ago on the bad holding penalty. Watson has been brutal also. I'm thinking a change of scenery may be all Cooper needs.

I'm thinking the same. Something like a new stocking shelves kind of scenery.

In the slower grocers with those oversized mitts I can see Employee of the Month potential down the road.

For sure a new career involving wearing a paper hat to work would be more conducive to job security.

It's common for fans or bettors to say a team quit, but last night New Orleans laid down in the 2nd half.

The 5 yard TD run by DEN Williams was a ridiculous no effort. There's clips of Chase Young taking circle routes around the QB just watching...zero effort to tackle.

Maybe when Carr's back things will change.

Odd decision by Shanahan. Down 14-6 early in second half, Purdy scores on a 1 yard run to make it 14-12. Go for 2, right? Nope. They went to kick.....and Anders Carlson promptly shanked it. Turned out not to matter, but WTF was Shanahan thinking?

Will the Watson injury be a career ender?
