Honestly, you could make a case for the Bears being head and shoulders above the other three right now and you would NEVER have said that a few weeks ago (or perhaps even yesterday).
Most assume the Vikes will get it together, but this division is looking plum-ugly right now.

GB is in the toilet. They are playing a first place schedule so they are pretty much done.

The Vikings are finding out Culpepper is not very good when he sees a straight up defense. Vikings are terrible.

Detroit is a .500 club at best. That might be enough.

NFL should declare the Cincy Bengals NFC North champs

They not only have beat Minn, Chi and GB but they had 5 interceptions against all 3 teams (15 total) and they still get to play Joey Harrington and the Lions so that will be 5 more picks at least.

Considering top shelf books like CRIS and Pinnacle have the Bears at -1000 & -700 respectively, I would say Royal is looking for their clients to tie up their money or god forbid, something sinister like getting an influx of cash before lowering the boom after the super bowl.
