09/05/06 Casino Closing: Stardust
It's official, the Stardust is set to close on November 1. Las Vegas hasn't had a historically significant casino closing in a while. This one counts. Fans of "old Vegas" will want to get in a visit as soon as possible.

I change my mind and it must be the Riv. Pics of girls must be close to Crazy Girls show. Years ago saw David Brenner and Charo there. Hard to stay awake with Charo.

That be cool Dirty if you could do that:+thumbs-2

Kind of sad to see the old vegas going away, I remember my first time in Vegas ceasars palace was consider the biggest casino in Vegas and cars could drive on Freemount street in downtown Vegas man how time flys by.

But always loved the Stardust and their sportsbook.

Hint #6-

The MAIN SPONSOR is WSEX!!!!!

I have not read all of this thread so hints 1-5 may make this guess a bad one.

JC hosted a dinner at Caesar's Palace in the Forum at the Palm a few years back. My guess Caesar's Palace.

Well that makes a lot of sense...NOT!

Last year EOG had only been in operation for about 5 months and they had a nice turnout at the Golden Nugget with almost an unlimited amount of rooms, at least I didn't hear about anyone getting shut out. This year, with EOG growing like crazy, you're going to have a blast and limit the number of rooms.

Re: Back From Vegas-Good News To Report

It will live up to the hype even if we have it back at the NUGGETT!!!

POKER TOURNAMENT, ROOM, KICK ASS FOOD AND DRINK, LADIES!!

Chit could have it in my back yard and it would live up to the hype!! MAY'N!!

Alot of people seem to be having fun with it!! It will be in VEGAS and thats what counts!! I hope you can attend!! It will be a blast!!:+thumbs-2

This hotel may limit our rooms. They normally get about $250-300 a night on the weekends!!
And yes we had a limited amount of rooms last year also [85].

But no one will be left behind!!:+thumbs-2

You coming out for the party Coach?

Jimmy, I am really considering it if I could get a room. I see a lot of friends here, including yourself. I talked to my nephew in law Mike tonight and he is game. It would be a HOOT! Thanks for asking. Say hello to your lady. LT

With threads like this that produce over 2k views in in less than 2 days, Shrink better raise the price of those banners flying above. Where ever the bash is, I'm sure it will be a lot of fun( a couple of posters I know said last year was fantastic and they expect even better this year) What better way to get back at the Bad sportsbooks that advertise here than to accept free room and party( that they are partially paying for). I heard the food and drinks were excellent and if I can get away from work I will definetly be there. :cheers
