I vaguely remember Wilt, a poor ft shooter, was shooting underhand for a while.

Weren't Barry's kids shooting fts underhand?

Barry played at Miami in the mid 60's and obviously was a star player, but it didn't do much for interest in the program.
They shut the program down from 1971 till 1985.

It's interesting most leading scorers in college are not even drafted, the ones who have been drafted don't do much. The only other player that comes to mind led CBB and NBA in scoring is Maravich.
