On top of what they are paying for Xm. Certainly not breaking the bank, but when money gets tight, a lot of these subscriptions get the ax. People are less likely to cut XM out of the budget when it has Sports Grid for free.
It’s not on until Jan 7, it’s taking VSIN’s channel number.what station # is sports grid on XM?
All of VSiN's highlights are also on twitter. If there is a subject I want to hear further, then I go to the podcast on spotify and listen to the segment.
VSIN's choice, or Sirius XM's? I agree, sucks.I understand they are leaving Sirius XM. The only time I listen is in the car. I think they will regret this move.

o’Royken or anyone familiar with that market - who would you hire if you could hire anyone?
Over the air sportsradio is getting crushed with the lack of revenue also. That will come back when bars reopen.Professional station manager in the business who knows how to draw money. Recruit morning and afternoon drive time hosts who have personality and a history is drawing money. Morning and Afternoon Drive talent are the best in the industry. What VSIN built were bottom tier talent with no personality and NO ability to draw money.
Mitch and Pauly were buried on Las Vegas Radio. Amal Shaw with Brent in the beginning? Why VSIN put faith in them proves they don't know what they are doing and have unqualified people making major decisions.
A key skill for on air talent is how to DRAW and KEEP sponsors on their show. Only reason Petros Papadakis made it in the business was because his father was able to get his business friends to put up money and sponsor his show. Petros was not liked. What kept him on LA radio was his dad bringing in money from his business contacts to sponsor his kids show. They even gave his dad a segment once a week to talk sports to help his ego. That is an exception to the rule. What it takes is talent understanding the business and how to use personality to keep money flowing into the show. Something Mitch and Pauly are clueless about as the others on the lineup.
Time is running out. Investors don't like seeing more Investors come in and reduce their share. Losing Satellite is a HUGE HIT.

I can see why they hired Vegas personalities like Mitch, Pauly, and others - it legitimizes them as Vegas Insiders on a gambling show.
And a lot of VSIN promo breaks. It really disrupts the flow of the show. They weren't drawing money to the network way before the pandemic and most likely won't after it either. Neither don't seem well enough educated for anything other than small market.
Mitch and Pauly talk about betting one hour in their 3 hour show. Rest is sports talk rants. College Football playoff and other nonsense.
