Re: Early Looks at Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

Tripp doesn't even know who LoMo is.

Trout as a sleeper is funny. He will get 300 ABs.

Re: Early Looks at Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

yu darvish not a sleeper obviously but will be better than people think.

typical reaction is for people to call foreign players coming over overrated and cant handle the usa spotlight. Darvish is an ace. count on that.

Re: Early Looks at Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

i was thinking of that too heim, but not sure anyone else on the angels is even relevant enough.

only two guys i can think of and one may be a really good sleeper. Howie kendrick (he should hit in front of pujols at the 2 spot), and kendrey morales (if he's healthy, which who knows at this point, he could put up big numbers hitting cleanup with pujols always on base).

howie is the one that could really benefit though cause he's a very good hitter, just frustrates me since he never lives up to my expectations for him. still though could be a near .300 hitter with decent speed and pop hitting in the 2 spot in front of big al all year

Re: Early Looks at Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

bourjos is gonna score A LOT of runs for the angels

he's also prob gonna hit 285, 15 homers and steal 35

Re: Early Looks at Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

idk ive watched bourjos plenty and i dont see him hitting .285 at this level. lots of speed, but not a great hitter. also k's quite a bit for the type of player he is. Lots of K's + rarely walks = shaky fantasy player to rely on when you're not a huge power guy

Re: Early Looks at Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

J.D Martinez from Houston and Allen Craig from St. Louis (if they can get him enough AB's)

i suspect donuts' team will take a flier on him

if his hip is fine, he could be in line for a breakout

Re: Early Looks at Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

Yep, guy is a bonafide stud.

Not sure Bumgarner is a sleeper at this point. Should be one of the first 20 sp picked in most drafts.
