Field Goal versus Touchdown

It popped up in the Arizona game again down 10 with 29 seconds remaining. 2nd and 15 from Balt 29 you kick a fg. Naturally you need it at some point but don't you attempt in the end zone, maybe getting a flag at minimum. A lot easier getting a fg after a recovered onside (already recovered one) late than td.

It's funny how many times getting the fg affects the spread in these situations.

Agree, take a shot or two, then kick your FG. Teams will give up the PI before a TD.
