Maybe. Because the life for most gamblers is shorter than the life of the general population. If someone lives to 80+ middle life for them is later than someone who lives 10+ years younger

This kinda, sorta supports my original contention.

Take 80 as a nice convenient number, 40 becomes halftime, you need a range around that so something like 30-50 is middle-aged.

If you happen to make it to like 90+, let's call those bonus years " advanced adultery. "
