Losers can be poor sports too.

I beat a guy the other day in one-on-one basketball and after his defeat, he announced he had not picked up a basketball in a couple of months and should not have eaten such a big lunch.

Likewise, I got drilled in a shooting competition by a superior player the other day and I complained to myself about the ball (it felt a little lopsided) and the dim lighting in the gym.

The human mind can be really weak at times.
