Well he did make 5 pro bowls.
I remember him well but not anything significant stands out to me.

J, he made the pro bowl his first 5 seasons, which is pretty good. also, if it wasnt for his back injury, he would of been an alltime great...

the game was better in the 70's and 80's ...IMHO the game has been hurt by too much athleticism ...speed everywhere makes the game less attractive...It was more interesting watching the great backs which were few and far between back then , run all over the place, now everyone is maxed out physically just about at every position.
This is something baseball can never lose because there is no physical contact, baseball's problem is there's too many teams and of course lopsided revenue.

J-MONG, I agree... Throw in the fact that all the rules are meant to promote more offense. the roughing the passer and that stupid chuck rule, makes the game more weak.. Imagine if Both Brady and Manning had to go up against the those 85 bears d, or 86 giants or the house of pain oiler defense.. Back then the teams were so much better and the rivalries were better as well..
