Do you ever have this problem with the maxthon browser?

Click on a link on a sportsbook that you have tabbed in the browser and instead of going to that link, it opens a new tab.

check Maxthon options

Tabs

New tabs settings and then look..mine are all unchecked.

I never have this problem.

I understand Mozilla/firefox allow the same thing.

But not all websites are compatibal with Firefox....I used firefox for years and I switched to Maxthon after JJ posted about it.

I was just going to try it for a few days to see how it was and after tinkering with it I quit using and Uninstalled firefox immediately....Maxthon is just as secure and the popup blocker and such is amazing....This is by far the Best Browser I have used.


still Use Thunderbird as my personal email Client since Maxthon doesn't do that.....and Outlook as my other Email.

When you say auto loaded do you mean when you open the browser and hit the "open all favorites button it loads the passwords as well? Right now I have it set up so I can get the 20 books in one brower but I have to click on each book and then autoload the acct# and password.

There is this Roboform program with it that loads all your passwords Automatically if you tell it to when you open the tab to the sportsbooks :+thumbs-2

Passwords don't really auto load I selected auto complete under internet options/content and I only need to place my mouse in the acct # field and both acct # and password are filled in.

Only takes about a minute to log into 20 books.

Mine Auto load and all i have to do is hit OK for the login to take place....very convenient:+thumbs-2

I downloaded this browser and cant it to work....IE stiill loads pages? what am I doing wrong?:+clueless

I made made maxthon my default

any ideas?

Go under Maxthon Options and change it there as well....Also I went to add/remove programs and went under windows components and unchecked IE explorer. It doesn't delete anything it just takes it totally out of play...If you want it back just go back and check it

One last question, I got the browser to work, but for some reason on this forum and others :+clueless :+thumbs-2 these and Avatar GIF Images are not animated

any ideas?

AT the top go under Options then Ad hunter.....There are 6 options that could be checked...I have from the top....the first 2 and the 5th one checked....The active X Blocker on bottom if it is checkedis probably the problem as most animated JPegs or whatever run off some sort of Active X control and if your Browser doesn't REcognize it it blocks it...

after you change these options you may have to restart your browser

Go under Maxthon options.....and read thru all the optons and do that....then go under internet options....I can't remember exactly what I did.....But under Maxthon options...if your Active x and all that is blocked in there you have to change it there as well....LIke if you want to change your home page you can do it under Internet and it will not take effect until you change it in Maxthon Options....

Under Maxthon Options.....goto Download....and be sure all those Boxes are checked.....and don't use DL manager...

Nothing...Just never used it.....I was just trying to set yours like mine to get it up and running then you could tweek it....Ijust use the DL manager that pops up when I DL something.....I have it set like I want it now since I quit using Firefox.....Glad you got it working....


on the toolbar at the bottom...that little sunshine thing lets you toggle back and forth from opening all pages ina new window or in the same window....that way you don't have to right click..saves time on some websites that you have to open in same window to get them to open..:+thumbs-2

I have no Clue....None of mine have ever shown up....But i have them all Grouped under Maxthon....Under Group....Add Group and select what you want and It gave them the title Maxthon
