I would guess that if they play Pitt or Ravens, the line will be almost the same. My educated guess would be Jets +4.

I did not like John Netto's oddsmaking estimates concerning the Jets in the AFC Championship Game. I assume his pointspreads were his opinion of the game, not his opinion of the market price.

My estimate of the closing numbers: Baltimore -3 over the NY Jets and Pittsburgh -3.5 over the NY Jets.

Netto is a good guest. Thanks focker. Las Vegas temperatures should rise to the 60's later this week. It was 28 degrees on New Year's Eve and yesterday's high was 43 degrees. Chilly for the desert.

lol just started listening to the archive and Netto does sound like he was running a marathon. The hell was going on there JN? Second question: what's the most you'll ever leverage yourself in the financial markets? And another comment, since Barry brought up Saban - I thought it was telling how after the game he and Meyer (to a lesser extent) continuously heaped praise on Chip Kelly. There are very few individuals in the country who know more about college football than Urban Meyer and Nick Saban and their respect and even admiration for Chip Kelly was evident. Dumb hypothetical question, but if you give Chip Kelly Auburn's players and Chizik/Malzahn Oregon's roster, what would the line be?

Nice show JK, as always....but way too much emphasis on the field conditions; Barry has got to admit the best team won....

I love the fact that Netto and Fezz are on the Bears and that Barry is on Seattle...

With all the money that Nike has, they could have given them some kind of cleat if the field was as bad as they say...

Great call on Michigan, JK, thanks. If I may chime in on the field for the BCS game-all the paint they use on the grass is brutal, I noticed several times that the players were slipping on logos and yardline markers, which obviously were freshly painted since the entire field was trucked in just for this game. Can you imagine the budget they have for that title game that they literally buy a brand-new field after the Fiesta Bowl for the BCS championship game a week later? I hate to see any problems with grass fields, since I despise any kind of artificial surface.

i've always thought that a mwf schedule would be great. monday ---a day after a big weekend wednesday---midweek thoughts ---- friday plays for the weekend, 90 minute shows would be fatastic but maybe a nightmare for JK
