Can you explain how this horse even got in the race? This is why I don't bet these toilet race tracks, I like quality circuits and horses.

I can't explain it other than the fact there's weird crap that goes on at some Mid Atlantic tracks. Apparently the racing secretary at Penn is asleep at the wheel. Horse should've been scratched.

How about at Parx today? In the 9th, the 9 horse draws up alongside the chalk, and appears poised to go on for the win. Then in the final 1/16th, the 9 horse tries to savage the chalk and it costs the 9 the race. I haven't seen a savaging incident in probably 10 years. At least not where it effected the outcome.

Now that gets followed up with a phantom DQ. Monomoy Girl gets DQ'd while making no contact whatsoever against Midnight Bisou. I can't recall a herding DQ without some contact.
