Bones forces trade from the Nuggets over lack of playing time. Clippers sign Westbrook. This should end well.

Last year the Heat led the league in three point shooting, this year they rank among the bottom of the league, Love could be good in the role of a stretch four, not sure what he has left in his tank, but Miami will give him plenty of opportunity, there's even been some talk of him possibly starting, he could have gone to Philly to ring chase, but the Heat offered him more minutes and a bigger role, so he took his talents to South BeachMaybe Kevin Love's outside shot can find some heat in Miami. It's grown icicles the last few years

I feel a little bad for Embiid, the guy is a fucking monster and he's having an MVP season. Unfortunately for him he's playing at the same time as Jokic, for as great a season as Embiid is having, Jokic is just better, he's averaging a triple double, has a higher PER and a higher win share, shoots 63% from the field and 40% from deep, I can understand the frustration Embiid must feel, but IMO he should be second again this year

half court desperation late going into the hands of DEN and subsequent three by Porter they lose.

Celtics showing why they'll come up lame again this year. Lots of clutch opps late in the game to win it and they continue to seek out Horford, Grant Williams and Smart for the big shots.
As good as the numbers always are in todays NBA, a lot of gaffs and missed shots by Tatum/Brown down thr stretch.

Pierce thinks Denver has a better chance of losing in the first round than Sacramento? Hmm, PP is my guy, but I'll have to respectfully disagree with him here, the funny thing is the Kings could be the second seed, they could play the Warriors who will be seeded much lower, and the Kings won't just be the dog, but likely a significant one. I would also say right now Memphis with all their issues are more likely to lose in the fist round than Denver

Warriors showing how much of a smoke show they are. Absolutely the worst defensive team in the NBA. Not a single person tries to stop a shot. Their rotations are mind-boggling. Up 25 on multiple different occassions tonight and could easily lose this game by DD. Phoenix locked in and every possession is a simple bucket.
Only because the West is so weak might they find themselves lucky to win a series. This team is a .500 team for a reason.

I agree it is what Dallas wanted/needed to do. However, how can any one of these GMS, coaches, players, etc., go on the record and with a straight face claim that tanking in pro sports doesn't happen?

The NBA is investigating the Dallas Mavericks for its blatant tank job Friday night against the Chicago Bulls at American Airlines Center. League spokesman Mike Bass said they want to know the franchise's motivations behind sitting its stars in a "win or go home" situation.
"The NBA commenced an investigation today into the facts and circumstances surrounding the Dallas Mavericks' roster decisions and game conduct with respect to last night's Chicago Bulls-Mavericks game, including the motivations behind those actions," Bass said.
Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd blamed team owner Mark Cuban for deciding to throw the season away and league commissioner Adam Silver could make an example out of him to avoid tanking in the future.
During the loss over Chicago, in which Dallas blew an 11-point fourth quarter lead, Cuban was seen giggling on the sidelines when his player launched two horrible bricks that would have tied the game at the buzzer.

I got fucked hard by a 'shame on you NBA' occurrence today between Philly/Brooklyn.
With Philly starting/playing only scrubs, I played Jaden Springer OVER 1.5 turnovers. He had a great game on Friday night playing 34 minutes for the 76ers.
So he starts the game, plays 2 minutes, and then is pulled off for the rest of the game. No injury, no sudden mental health issues. The decision? To start him but only then realize that they would 'manage his minutes' since he's had a heavy workload between the G-League and his one NBA game on Friday. LMAO! But they decide to start him.
Rivers has since said he re-injured his ankle in the 2 minutes, which is BS. Watching the game, nothing happened.
Just bizarre. Maybe he gets ice cream if he plays in 15 games this year? Today was his 15th.
