If it ain't broke don't fix it. Why the hell did they have to go fooling around and changing shit. By the end of the season there will be a ton of bitching and moaning when somebody gets screwed by the new system. Ask kevin harvick how he likes it after week 1. 2348ji23e

Personally I don't mind the points system they've set up but from what I understand is it all changes in the chase......If NASCAR wants to have a simplified points system that's fine but get rid of the damn Chase and go back to letting the boys race hard all season...JMHO

does not seem to be causing any issues but still early in the season. It may actually be better just because it's so simplified.

The system was broke. The points system was crazy. Now, with the new points system, they can do away with the Chase at the end of the season...that will happen within the next 2 years.
