It really is a nice place. I saw it back in 2002 on my first trip to Costa Rica. I stayed at the Melia Cariari that time - probably tied for the best place with the Marriott. On one of my tours, the tour bus stopped at the Marriott to pick people up and I was in awe of the surroundings. I was told Bill Clinton has even stayed at this hotel.

Did you ever manage to get a massage anywhere in town, General?

Although I most admit the pictures don't favor me. LOL

Next time you are in CR- I strongly advice a trip the Beach, or the rain forest! Too bad you didn’t get the chance to visit more places.
