cannon should only be 0-1 under the rules as florida and atlanta are not posted by 6:55 est

the only play that would count is dodgers loss as its an 8:05 est game

SHRINK'S $1,000 KING OF CAPPING CONTEST

TTake a chance at winning a prize of $1,000 from The Shrink! The Shrink is hosting a baseball contest for 30 days to find out who has the skills to claim this prize.


This contest will start on Tuesday April 21, 2009


The rules are simple:

​


  • Posters must make a minimum of 45 plays during the course of the next 30 days.
  • No more than 3 plays per day allowed
  • No more than 60 total plays allowed.
  • Each play will be for one unit. The person with the most units at the end of the 30 days wins.
  • Minimum of 200 posts to enter
  • Only one participant per IP address.
  • You can not take both the RL and the ML on the same team. If you do so both picks will be null and void.
  • You CAN take the O/U in a game and the RL OR ML on the same game.
  • Lines will be posted by 10am CST each day
  • Due to the five minute editing ability games must be posted ten minutes prior to scheduled start time of the game.
  • More than one post made me made per day



The contest will be graded by Tuckman, if any oversights or concerns are to be made during the contest in regards to the grading please contact him via private message so that he may address it.

It you wanted to be this analytical about this FREE contest, then maybe you should have offered to grade it Big Daddy.

I will not be posting the rules in the thread every day.

People can look in the rules thread as that is where they are all currently posted.

I forsee no more changes to the rules. This contest is unlike any we have had going on since I have been running contests here and I apologize if you are unhappy with the results but we are doing what we can.

in all our past contests that i can remember dirty or hache or bucs always had the rules as the first post in the contest thread.


i dont have to play its not a biggie but if you can't take suggestions that are solid sugestions

I can take suggestions but your posting every play that is past due is a bit much.

Tuckman I am sure will review them when he gets a chance.

Whether you play or not is your choice and no they did not always have the rules posted.

I played in the weekend warrior contest and I know the rules were not posted each week, so please do not play comparison.

is it not better to get the kinks out of the way the first few days than to have a mess like you guys had in the docs contests?

like i said how hard is it to copy and paste the rules into the picks thread daily?

rules shouldn't be changed in the middle of the contest. i wouldn't have even signed up if I had to have my picks in before the start of the first game. some of us have lives and aren't on the computer late at night or early morning on the best coast.

if some of the people werent so fucking retarded, this wouldnt even be a problem.. late posts, 4, 5 and 6 games being posted.. wrong threads picks are in, wrong forums for christ sakes.. i didnt relize how handicapped some posters are till i started doing this :hangt

I'm kinda confused. There were rules posted at the start of the contest. What's so hard about enforcing them? They're pretty simple. I mean, I kinda understand them and i'm not the brightest crayon in the box.

Can we split the contest in 2? one for people who can follow the rules as originally stated and a second contest for the ones who can not. the first stated group can play for the $1k prize, the second can play for nothing. just put that in the rules, they're probably so oblivious they won't even notice.
