3 am where would be my question
Pretty sad that a contest with 2 grown men with a history of gambling where the money isnt even a yawn in their life turns into something that teenage girls would consider petty.
The fact that this contest needs 9 pages of rules to close all the loopholes is sad. But I'll keep watching cuz I'm a sucker like that. Lol.
Just a casual reader of the thread and contest. With no alliances or bias.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with what Facts did. Against the rules? No. That should be end of story.
He ended 3-3 with his 1st half plays. That could have been 6-0. Could have been 0-6.
Your plays still have to win.
The quarter plays were the issue....apparently the rules did not allow them....
If the rules didn’t allow them, then why were they allowed? This doesn’t seem too difficult to decipher.
Rules clearly state which wagers can be used. 1/4's are not there so the powers to be think it is/was loophole. Lol, tsk.....tsk.
.....may versus must paragraph 4, clearly stated.
Quarter wagers were not excluded in the original set of rules.
Betting on the oscars were not excluded
But doesn’t mean they could wager on it
It clearly stated what you could wager on!
Quarter bets should have been voided
It’s black and white!
Got itSHOTCALL0, betting on the Oscars was excluded in the original set of rules because we named the sports (NFL, NBA, NCAAF and NCAAB) available to both handicappers.
I only added this rule (Contestants must select full-game sides or totals, first-half sides or totals and halftime sides or totals) AFTER Joe's correlated attempt.
Do think halftime bets should be eliminated though
One note about the rules: If the two contestants agree to a special rule for a monthly contest, we can make amendments.

3 am where would be my question

Entertaining post, Joe.
"Can I get a rundown?"
The Internet changed everything.
Many years ago, I called Ladbrokes in England looking for Breeders' Cup odds.
I asked the clerk for a rundown of current odds in the Breeders' Cup Classic.
The Englishman on the other line then cried out to what sounded like his superior, "The bloody bloke wants the prices on every horse!"
Halftime score: Virginia 27 Clemson 21.
