Best 2 have to be Sooners/Tide in my opinion - LSU close 3rd.
Here's how I see it...

Tier 1 :
Sooners - Bama - LSU

Tier 2:
Stanford - Wisky - Boise - Ok State - Oregon

Tier 3:
Clemson - Gamecocks - Kansas State - Georgia - Nebraska -

Honorable Mentions:
Houston - Arizona St - Florida St. - Michigan - TCU -
S. Miss - Arkansas - Cincy - Washington

Of course -
any one of these could beat another on any-given Saturday.
As we will see come bowl time!!!

not sure when this question was originally posed to posters here, but I dont think there is much a question here Today NOV 1 2011 its Very Obvious to Me LSU & BAMA are the top 2 and if they Played at 2-3-2 format similar to NBA these two teams would Beat Virtually ANY other ncaa team in a 7 game series Period. BAMA & LSU are the nations top 2 college football programs player 1-45 on rosters I.M.O

Love the spin. anybody in any other conference plays a 9-6 game and SEC humps from inbred ms to crackerville fl would be crying in their gumbo how awful those teams must be.


alabama at home couldn't score a td. they should go away for good.

Said it last week & just wanna reiterate the BEST 2 college teams played Last night, Now, the question (At least to me) still remains if the Best team WON. but no doubt these are the Top 2 College teams in Talent IMO

The NCAA would rather have a 2 loss SEC team in the national championship game than an unbeaten Boise St team.

The best thing for Boise St would be if somehow Georgia wins the SEC championship game. Even after that with the current standings Oklahoma St and Alabama would be in the title game. LMAO! Man this is a fucked up system.

Finally Boise is out. It would have been an embarrassment for football to have one team favored by 30 in the championship game.
