A Pew poll from a few weeks back asked Americans how they felt about capitalism versus socialism. The results said all you need to know about how much longer we?re going to have to wade through this misery. You guessed it: until the Boomers finally croak.

For maybe the first time in modern history, we now have a generation that actually has warmer feelings about socialism than it does capitalism: 49% to 46%. And a few days later, amid a multi-billion dollar war on public sector workers, another poll was released demonstrating that a whopping 69% of Millennials think teachers are underpaid (56% for Americans of all ages).

developing power down situation.A change in expectations will ensue one way or another.

Say what you will about the tenets of Chinese economic slowdown assumptions and what not
(despite inflation obviously continuing to be a rather pesky issue), at least its steadfast
determination to have the world's largest crude oil stockpile is an ethos. At 23.4k metric tons of
imports in January, China just imported the most crude in its history,
despite the traditionally slow period around the Chinese new year. The trendline is
unmissable - at this rate China will become the world's largest importer of Crude in a few
short years, surpassing the US easily with its 28K metric tons of imports in a couple of years.

Oh, and anyone who thinks that China will volunteer to lose Iran as a primary source of crude
imports as its oil is "liberated" by Western powers as the country is obviously en route to
having the world's largest crude stockpile (as to why this may be the case, read here), we have
a bridge to Isfahan to sell you.

What's interesting about the "HANDOUT" generation is you left all the handouts the government gives Corporation in the form of tax breaks, no bid contracts, bailouts.

Relative world growth in a different direction/form is possible,energy intensive practices are hitting natural limits,thinking will change on what's valuable and desirable,and people's expectations satisfied as well as can be with what's available.
