I think that's a good point FW, I think with the evolution of contests in different states upcoming there will be more live line contests in the future. I heard of the first one a book is running with live lines out East.

Exactly as I predicted weeks ago. Las Vegas advantage players can't help themselves. With so many experts at games other than football betting entering you are going to see a huge part of the field backing the same couple of sides every week, just playing the line moves.

How are total contest entries looking for 2020?

I wasn't able to get out to LV this year to enter anything.

I have a bowling tourney in May 2021, if all goes well, will be there then to sign up, and I'll plan on reaching out to you.

So almost no overlay left. Not surprising, I heard from countless gamblers I know to be at least respectably sharp mentioning they booked a flight out to enter. Good situation though for the proxies.

Looks like the release time for Supercontest picks will be far later than previously. That's a good thing for other contests, IMO, where some seemed to just Freeload the leader's picks.

Ya the Supercontest submission time was changed from Sat morning to Saturday night so many welcome the change

Huge flood of entries late taking the big overlay away

The EOG contest has been fun to run, I love this sort of stuff. It's crazy, that in the Circa Survivor that anyone who chose KC will be eliminated if the game is postponed, and not played by Tuesday! Looking forward to 2021 LV contests! And of course, will run the EOG next year too!

It's a smaller field that some people like and it pays the top 10, winner last year took home close to $45,000 for a nickel entry.

I have a feeling he was S.O.L. and was kinda/sorta forced to take them because he had no better options. I doubt he did it because he wanted to do it.

Westgate is gonna have to do something for 2021 Season or else running the risk of being irrelevant. Derek Stephens very quickly made Circa THE PLACE to enter contests. I know the Westgate/Hilton WAS the prestigious contest for some time but Circa blew past them and if Westgate wants to exist they need to do something or else they will be Sears

I don't believe Circa takes out any admin fee, where Westgate does in their football contest. I agree, Circa has passed the Westgate by in everything. Survivor pools have been around forever, Westgate totally missed the boat on this. I think Circa will gain momentum where Westgate will fade away.

It will be interesting to see what changes come forth for this year by all contests going forward including those that did not go in 2021(ie... Golden Nugget, William Hill)

Westgate was a "weaker field" inspite of the 8pct you still made more $ at Westgate with the exception of 1st, 2nd or 3rd, the other 97 spots you made more at westgate than circa
