I had Cubs/Brewers Under 8, 1-0 Cubs bottom 9, Brewers score a run to tie it, Cubs with 5 in the top of the tenth, Brewers with 2 in the bottom, couldn't make it up if I tried

Arraez with 4 more hits yesterday, now hitting .398 as a Padre, meanwhile the Marlins just DFA'd one of the "prospects" they got back for him

Arraez is this generations best hitter in baseball, I'd pencil him in as a .320-.330 hitter, in a good year he'll hit .350, in a bad a lowly .300.

It's not like he's Don Kessinger either, he has some pop.

he also walks more than he strikes out normally.

Might be the toughest beat of the MLB season so far.

I'm mystified about Reid Detmers of the Halos. Always unhittable in spring, then the reg season starts and he's a different pitcher.

Now sent down. He has big problems 2nd time through the lineups. Maybe they should consider having him come out
of the pen, middle relief.

How about the Angels draft class from a couple of years ago where they drafted all (20) pitchers. That class bombed with only a couple making it to the show & none standing out…. 🤮

Their minors have historically been the worst in baseball. Baltimore went from last to first, they need to copy their player model especially with foreign players.

I made a future on Aaron Judge Under his HR total, at the end of April it looked like a lock, at the end of May it's a loss, he's the modern day Babe Ruth, I don't know why pitchers even pitch to him, I'd intentionally walk him every at bat

How long can Arizona afford to keep Carroll in the #2 slot in lineup?
I completely whiffed on him and the Snakes, I've got all kinds of futures on them, really liked their roster to start the season, just hasn't worked out, have no explanation why Carroll has been this bad

Heard this last night; Cleveland has scored 2 or more runs with 2 outs in its last 16 games. Completely unsustainable

When are the White Sox going to fire their manger? Have to think this weekend
I’ve got the White Sox under 63.5 wins. They are 15-47 so exactly 100 remaining. They only need to go 49-51 to go over the total. That shocked me. We’ve seen bad teams close the year playing .500.

They could have won yesterday and lost late.

There was a story yesterday that Trout is still 4-6 weeks away from returning and is only
on a elliptical machine for cardio. He had surgery May 3.

There has been football players who had a torn meniscus and back playing within 3 weeks.

I remember when Anthony Munoz was at SC he was back in 2 weeks.

Same shit with this guy. Can't trade him now with his injury history. Can you?

Yup, they said 2 months when he went down, that would mean he should return beginning of july, so they'll prob keep him out till after the all star break, that would be 2 1/2 months.

just watch, july 1st will arrive and he'll be "close", after the all star game he'll be close, Aug 1st he'll be any day now, be lucky if he's back by sept.

Didn't Joker have the same thing, they're talking 3-4 weeks with him and he plays tennis, prob 50 times more stress on it than playing baseball, especially when trout could DH.

It's amazing with the A's lack of money and shoddy farm system how they come up with one stud pitcher
every year. Estes looks like the real deal this season.

Cubs may be unexpected sellers at the deadline. They are a dead team. They haven’t won a series in their division yet.

It's baffling. They did quite well vs a very tough scheduling period the first 6 weeks. Then they hit divisional play and started sucking their thumbs.

Ranger Suarez did not look sharp in the first inning. He gave up 2 doubles and hit a batter. Nimmo clearly walked but they called a strike on a pitch 3 inches off the plate. Should be at least 2-0. This comes after Suarez took a line drive off his thumb in his last start.

He settled down and lasted just over five innings…his ERA rose to 1.81 for the season…

I don't think he was sharp. He's had a great season but today gave up 8 hits a walk and hit batter in less than 6 innings. And that doesn't count getting bailed out by terrible ball/strike calls that went his way on pitches 3 inches off the plate. Even the announcers were talking about it. Maybe it was after effects of taking a line drive off his thumb.
