Thanks to the guys like ballwonder and junkman who have continued to post lines through all the BS. $10,000 to a charity is nothing to sneeze at and their efforts amidst all the muck should be appreciated.

Both sides should cut out the bashing....at this point it is just stupid. Both sides have proven their points. At the end, one side or the other will get an opportunity to pound their chest so just wait until this contest is over so we can make sure that a deserving charity does not lose out on some money.

Thanks Hines for the words. Lots of help from Junk and Tuckman has jumped in as well. It is for a great cause and we all need to be reminded of that. I did post right below my final count for the night that there are 64 plays left due to the ballgame being wiped out.

this contest seemed organized at first but has went in many tangents because of the other drivel involved.. it is what it is..

i ended up with lakers - 7 1/2 and cavs +6 1/2 (station casinos)

Well, you guys are getting it done. It's not rocket scientry. Adam, you bring up a good point about timing and getting a good price. It just doesn't matter what you do there could be criticism. If you turn in copies of your tickets the argument could be made that you bought several tickets through the course of the day and just turned in the ones that were beneficial to you for the contest.

The variance here can be as high as 5% based on getting a good line on your plays. That is a big problem for players to deal with. Very important in my opinion. At what price is a play a play and where does it lose it's value???

At any rate, I for one would never have enough time to screw around posting picks when I could be out there buying tickets at good prices. In your case maybe it is worth the while if you could get some new customers. We are all flying pretty blind here but by and large if you can do it - this format should give you a fair chance to show it.

These rules do force the picker to originate - that is the purpose - it is what separates the wheat from the chaff.

Thank you for the confidence in me to play any of my games. Last year was my best nba season. Truthfully, I don't know what the overall percentage was but it was great. Although i was on the wrong side in the finals when Lakers blew a 24 point lead. Funny thing is I had phillies the other day but took it down because of the price some said not fair . Then the Arizona line. Then the two winners in second half that don't count. I would be a little over 50 percent right now. So i hope when i still hit 57 percent people will realize it was actually 63 or so.
