i did not read all 10 pages. but wow.. how can BET JAM not want this clown to bet $1000 on horse bets! he is betting major tracks and major races, that is such a huge positive ROI for betjam for them to take a wager, have him win it and then take half away is total robbery and a stupid business model. Bet Jam has to pay up in this case, this is not even worth an arguement. This is not some fixed face at Finger Lakes!

Holy Cripes this is total theft by BET JAM. I can hardly believe what Im reading on this.... amazing. that guy should have Shrink Call Scotty and just get this taken care of. BET Jam gets a mulligan on this they are such a great book in so many ways..

this is a horse race one of the biggest sucker bets in the planet.....there is not sharp action on a horse race at a large track the track take out is 17%! ...he would lose everything in another week if they let him bet normal 1000 limits thqat they allow for teir one tracks... that 500 limit was in the sportsbook where they try to stop sharp aciton.... not a sucker bet like horse racing! believe me I know Im a big horse player! the guy hit one (after losing for a week) and they cry on this? they should just laugh and wait until he loses everyting.

i can not believe BET JAM would do that...this is much worse than the Formula 1 Greek no pay issue... just becasue you have a limit of 500 in the sportsbook does not mean you have a 500 limit in the horse book! that is a joke. BET Jam would want him to waste cash there since he will beat him in the sportsbook with his sharp action on the 500 limits...

lots of horse guys bet one ticket and then another as they see the odds change on the tote...his limits were set in the sportsbook not the racebook...betjam will pay this guy and Id think soon before this story gets some legs like the forumla 1 issues did for the Greek which they never fully 100% recovered from.

same reason they put small limts on props with -115 juice on both sides, very very low volume compared to football.
lets be honest betjam by math standards BETJAM should put $20000 limits on over under sacks 4 -115 both ways . In horse racing books have to be careful that their max loss potential is not out of line with their business model as a single $1000 straight trifecta winner at 200-1 would ruin them and there is some tiny chance it could hit even if its a sucker bet...so they limit tracks and bet types to fit the business model. i just do not think in anyway that they can say because they cut sportsbook limits to 500 that that fits for the racebook...the sharp action and wise guy aciton on sports is different than at the racebook..this was a sportsbook issue only.

Lets put it this way, I have a major sprotsbook that cut my horse wagers to zero (stupid move Im a huge lifetime loser in horses!), and I still wager up to $1000 in that sportsbook (normal limits are in place in the software)...so yes Id do that. I never asked if I had a 0 sports limit. they are separate reasons to limit in the sportsbook and the racebook. and if I was set at zero in the sportsbook Id still play horses there.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt as it's a long thread and you probably didn't read it all. The player was told his limits were being cut after he had won several sports bets. He had not made a single horse bet at that time, nor did he make any more sports bets over the $500 limit.
He then went to the racebook where the posted limit is $1000 but you have to bet 2 $500 bets, their software will not take $1000 bets. So he logically assumes that he is only limited to $500 in the sportsbook, although it sure would have been nice if he had asked first. By the way, what do you think the answer would have been from BetJm if he had asked? I'll bet you anything that they would have allowed him to bet $1000 on a horse bet to win, maybe not to show.
But anyway, he places several $1000 horse bets to win, by his account he lost 6 and won 1 bet on a 6/5 shot and all these bets were accepted and he was paid in full on the $1000 bet on the 6/5 favorite. The next bet is on a 26-1 shot and it wins and again they credit his account in full, but the next day they change their mind and say that he has violated his $500 limit and they deduct half the $26,000 winnings from his account, and don't bother to give him back the $3,000 for the 6 losing $1000 bets(they have rectified that error at least).
This is clearly a case of BetJm taking a shot; and furthermore it's unnecessary on their part as they should have just sent him a gift and congratulated him on the nice win and bided their time until he gave them back all their money. How foolish of BetJm...I thought Scotty was smarter than this.

same reason all the offshore sportsbooks clamor to have a racebook now..its a cash cow....some even give a rebate to get players! its a sucker bet except for the most inside of people or a few special handicappers playing the pic 3's and pick4's .

no way was betjm taking a shot.... it probably flew under the radar because they cant control the racebook software like the sportsbook...id bet jamaica had no idea he was betting a dime on horses til they saw the huge win... and if they would have noticed it BEFORE the win, i think they would have taken the same actions

devil that is just not sound logic. Ive been cut to 100 on college hoops at one book and can wager the max in all the other sports. at another book Ive had my prop wagers cut to 25 and I still have large limits in the other sports.
in one I have a 0 horse limit and max in sports.....what betjam has done is steal $13,000 from this guy its hardly worth a thread except the guy needs this $13,000....
