im not racist, 2 of my favorite pastors are Black. Miles Mcpherson and Creflo Dollar. There is some good Black coaches, but if your hired because of race or gender instead of merit then that is wrong reason.

It is sad that everyone is so terrified of being called a racist. Facts are facts.

I would never have a black quarterback on my NFL team. They are too injury prone, hit their prime when they are 22 and regress from there, usually miss at least 1 full season to injury, have trouble processing NFL playboooks( hence the read option), and usually are selfish.. (RG 42 operation patience crap) You think you would ever see Brady, Manning, Brees, Luck do that)

Black coaches are not known for their brains...Hell Tony Dungy is considered a great coach, his vanilla defense was so damn predictable every snap.

I love coaches that stick to fundamentals.

The game is simple really, those who execute best usually win.

To me nothing worse than a coach that feels he has to prove how smart he is.

You prove that by winning.

And FTR Tony's defense at Tampa was probably one of the top 2 or 3 of all time.

They were consistently good. Year in and year out.

Ask Monte Kiffin who impacted his career the most and he will tell you Tony Dungy

Trying to back up a silly "point" about black coaches being poor is not a thread you want to mention Coach Dungy..

One of the best in the history of the NFL IMO.

Completely disagree. Having watched Dungy ruin a few seasons of the colts. He was brought here for defense as the defense was a huge weak link for Indy and never really improved.

Let me start out by saying this. Tony Dungy knows more about football than I ever will. HOWEVER, if I can look at the colts defense pre-snap and know exactly where all 11 players will be once ball is snapped, I can only imagine what the opposing quarterback and offensive coordinator can see. They always played vanilla 4-3 cover 2 and never blitzed. Freeny and Mathis would fly up the field creating huge running lanes, the middle linebacker would run straight back taking away the middle of the field, the corners would roll up and the safetys would split the field. This was their defense nearly every single play.

There is a reason why most of the top defenses in the NFL play a 3-4. It is hard to predict where people are coming from and who is in coverage.

Rough year for fading black NFL coaches as they go 24-15-1 ATS, excluding the 4 match ups in which they went head to head. Looks like the system needs some tinkering.
