Correct, but the admin can see the few results of who picked the early games before the last deadline. This would be a miniscule or no advantage until perhaps the last few weeks of the season.

So how is it more than minuscule? Give an example where knowing one pick out of 5 from another entrant gives a significant advantage.

hypothetical is if i have 4 solid sides i like, looking for a 5th and i see railbird and matt on the same side of a game, their is my 5th. example B, i identify railbird as my only real competion, i could mirror his plays with a lead, and fade ones if im behind

You're totally confused.
You can't mirror any of his plays, you only know plays from early games after that game's deadline for entry. You can't go on or against his early plays.

Using self-generated lines also would be a large advantage.
Surely somebody is in the ear of the folks making Circa contest lines. That half point turns leans into plays.
I like that there isn't any doubt what lines will be used.
I'd like to see a contest use whatever line is being dealt at the time of posting the contest card. That would include omitting "off the board" games.

FWIW, Jeff Sherman with the SuperBook posts their NFL openers more or less in the space between the afternoon games and the start of SNF.
Yes, these lines don't become the finalized contest lines until Wednesday afternoon, after they've been hammered on a bit by sharps ("you can bet early, and you can bet large, but you can't bet large early").
But this is where what becomes the contest lines start, for your reference in analyzing your Week 02 picks during the first half of the coming week.

I have a $1000 line of credit with a loaded poster and my balance is only $310. I was going to use that like I did last year but Woodrow decided to go Conway on me in the bogus challenge where I not only won but with some spectacular, historic picks. Even if I had the J Money (another beauty, faked his death after scamming me $1500), I wouldn't have paid.

Here's the current standings after week 1 in the contest.....BTW, I'll use this single thread for the entire season:
17 players have paid their dues, $250 each for a total of $4,250. BetDSI generously adds 10% to our prize pool, which is another $425, for a grand total of $4,675 to pay out.
Per the rules, 60/30/10 split, will see first place get $2,805, second place $1,402, and thrid place $468.
