Jimmy Butler unstoppable in the second half

If Andreeva goes down, I have Slutty and Bencic top halfsies. Surprised she is getting rolled. Not ready yet. She will be eventually.

The Miami Heat are suspending Jimmy Butler for two games after he missed a team flight for a road trip, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.

Butler missed a Wednesday flight as the Heat traveled to Milwaukee for a Thursday game against the Bucks that will be nationally televised on TNT, according to the report. Per the report, Butler intended to join the team for the game, but instead will be suspended for the road trip that also includes a Saturday game against the Brooklyn Nets.

The suspension is the second of the season for Butler, who's been embroiled in turmoil amid reports that he's demanded a trade out of Miami. The Heat previously suspended Butler on Jan. 3 for seven games, citing "multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team."

▪ ESPN lead draft analyst Jonathan Givony: “I had [him] as the 11th player on my big board. This is a slide for him. The Heat needs a ball handler, playmaker in the worst possible way. He’s the best pick-and-roll playmaker in this draft.

“Think of a cross between Austin Reeves and Andrew Nembhard. Great size for a guard. Can play 1, 2 or 3 [point guard, shooting guard, small forward]. Shot maker, brings real toughness, a competitor. This is going to be a a great pick for Miami, who doesn’t traditionally draft international players. This is an awesome pick for the Heat.”

As ESPN noted, there were two freshmen who averaged at least 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists last season: Jakucionis and Duke’s Cooper Flagg, who went first overall to Dallas.
