I haven’t missed Vegas one bit since I left a year ago. I do miss the annual trip to Del Mar. That weather and the horse racing can’t be beat. Too bad the state is run by lunatics.

That was brutal to watch, but with crime being out of control in many cities, and also going without punishment, the shop owner has made the world a better place.
I hope he isn't indicted, but if the thief has died, it's very possible the shop owner will be charged with something.

When I lived in Vegas, I didn't venture to far off the Enterprise, Southern Highlands area. Even a mile north on Decatur gets bad fast. I was followed a couple times from a bank heading to a sportsbook.

Aside from the air of entitlement that the includes doing whatever the fvck I want sans repercussions, isn’t Vegas culpable in this mess.
Seems as if Vegas has taken away a fair gamble in about each and every game, and the comps aren’t what they used to be. And the lower room rates since Covid have drawn quite the element. How about upping rates, provide a decent gamble, and reward the players who pay the rate and take the gamble. Twitter vids abound show this Motel 8 approach ain’t getting it.

I had a check to the IRS stolen out of the mailbox. I mailed it before mail was picked up,in the afternoon. The IRS name was replaced by someone who erased it and put theres. They had to deposit the check in order to cash it,which they did. Filed a police report and talked to the postmaster,who said this happens every other day. The banks fraud department said if I had gone in the post office and mailed it, it wouldn't have mattered, some postal workers have a side hobby. They can even erase the amount, to a higher amount using chemicals. Amazingly the banks don't have id scanners like the casinos.
