You're 100% right on kane but not with Allen. Allen scores 2 TDs within 2 minutes and loses becasue of 13 seconds and not getting winning the coin toss. He had absolutely no help last week vs. KC. There is no offensive talent on the team and they were playing with a backup defense. That throw to Diggs was perfect. Allen has 19 GWDs in his career yet people just remember the games he blew.
Allen tries to go deep downfield way too much on crucial drives, the trick is steady progress, you cant blow a down or two and then face 4th and long - way too hard to succeed.

When brady was winning super bowls he would steadily pick his way down field -6-8-10 yds a pop, you dont need to heave 30-40 yd passes to win the game.

Coaching Can Fix That.

Buffalo Hasn't Had a Coach That's Able To Fix It.

What's So Complicated About Trying To Fix That ?

Perfect example of this was the NE/Atl Super Bowl. Atlanta scored too quick. Brady just started grinding away; slow drives which just wore down the Atlanta defense.

I don't know about that. Atlanta only scored 7 points in the second half.
That was on an 8 play 85 yard drive early 3rd quarter.
Then they had 3 punts and a fumble last 4 drives.
3 of last 4 drives were 4 plays or less, so yes, Atlanta D did not get much of a break.

Do you consider mahomes to be white or black, if black why?

Are you sort of old time racist that thinks one drop of negro blood makes you black?
I consider Mahomes to be the best QB in football, you're the one who has to decide whether he's white or black, that way you'll know whether to hate him or not, this is what you posted last week.

I've told you I'm the least racist person on this forum, I dont like black people not because they're lessor people, inferior or because I feel I'm superior, I dont like them because they're rotten human beings. they choose to be uneducated, they choose to be violent , lazy, unethical and completely uncaring about their fellow human beings. If they acted normal almost no one would dislike them, they dont however so they are almost universally despised.

Nothing racist about disliking blacks. It's not what they are, it's who they are

Best QB in football this season?
This season, no, he was very good but other guys had better seasons, I haven't looked at any stats, but this was probably the worst season of his career, but he was still a top 5 QB even in a "down" year for him, when I look at his overall body of work since he entered the league, factoring in his personal stats along with his team's success, I think he's the best QB in football, and by the time he retires I feel he'll go down as one of the greats to ever play the game

Nobody is denying Josh Allen's talent. He still has several years to get it done. But he doesn't get crowned by failing every year in the playoffs. Same to a lesser extent with Herbert. Herbert at least will have a coach. Joshy is still stuck with McDipshit.

....... to you. It's who they are to you.

Generally people like this are treated poorly by others as well - women, whites, everyone else.

It's more about who you are than them.

At your age it's probably too late but actually mingling rather than getting your opinion from the 10PM news could help defeat ignorance,

I've mingled quite a bit and have always appreciated the respect and friendship I've gotten from blacks (and everyone else).

BTW Kane didn't post that, he was quoting Merlin.

Back to the NFL, we move on.

Comrade Merlin, do you consider Mahomes white or black? How else will you decide whether to hate him or not. I've always wondered how you and other racists deal with someone who has a black parent and a white parent, do you guys only hate half of him, how exactly does it work?

kane

Comrade Merlin, since you consider Mahomes to be white, I assume that means you don't hate him since he's not 100% black, this is good info to know, now I know how racists feel about people who are a mixed race, they have to be 100% black in order to be hated by you, glad we got that issue cleared up. And as McIrish says, "we move on"

maybe he wants to claim Mahomes is white is because Mahomes is good...wants him on the team so to speak
Joshua Dobbs has a white father/black mother ....does comrade claim Dobbs is white?

Sure he's not perfect but he's doing things that no other QB in the game can do as a whole. Whatever his shortcomings are he makes up for it with the big third a fourth down conversions either in the scrum or taking on hits running. Pro football reference keeps a success rate for runs. Allen is far ahead of everyone else.

The only reason that Buffalo had to punt against KC is because of drops. PFF graded Allen the #1 QB and he deserved it.

The story of the season for KC has been the defense, they drug a kicking and screaming Mahomey to the post-season this year.

I think even the Swifties can see that much.

The Ravens became the first team in NFL history to lead the league in fewest points allowed (16.5), most sacks (60) and most takeaways (31) in a single season. Baltimore shut down this year's best offenses, including dominating the top three -- the Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions -- and quarterbacks were hit so hard five had to leave games this season. In the 34-10 divisional playoff win over the Houston Texans on Saturday, the Ravens held Houston without an offensive touchdown and didn't let standout rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud run a play inside Baltimore's 25-yard line.

Through its first 10 games, Baltimore has spent only 28 minutes, 46 seconds trailing —
In the past 40 years, the teams that have spent the least time trailing through their first 10 games are the 1984 Miami Dolphins (14:46), the 1998 Denver Broncos (27:07), this year's Ravens (28:46), the 1990 New York Giants (43:42) and the 2007 New England Patriots (51:03), according to the NFL Media Research Department.
Every team on that list started 10-0 except Baltimore.
The good news for the Ravens is that the other four teams on the list all made the Super Bowl and two of them won it.

Let's see, for years the anti-Mahomes argument was he had Tyreek Hill and Kelce. Hill, the most explosive WR in the league, and Kelce, a first ballot Hall of Famer. But I don't hear those people crediting Mahomes for the poor receiving group he has to deal with now. Sure, Kelce has had a great career but he's 34 and not the same player he was at his peak. How many teams would you take KC's receiving group over? I'd say New England, the Giants, the Jets, Arizona, Tennessee and Carolina. The Bears? Maybe as a group but D.J. Moore better than anyone KC can throw to. I'd take Kelce over Kmet but the gap is less than the gap Moore has over any KC WR. With all the cap room and draft choices, I would expect the Bears receiving group to blow past KC next season. Cleveland? I'd take Cooper and Njoku over Rice and Kelce. Atlanta? Like some of these other teams mentioned, the production has been largely due to poor QB play. Put Mahomes on Atlanta and those young receivers would put up numbers. And even with poor QB play, I'd take the Steelers receivers over KC as well.

When you consider that crappy receiving corps, he has been impressive. And that Hall of Fame TE? Basically TJ Hockenson with a more famous girlfriend.
I know he dealt with a knee injury during the season, but you're right, for the first time it looks like age is starting to catch up to him

I don't argue with the Mahomes haters anymore, it's a waste of time, when I watch him play I'm watching greatness, I have no idea how anyone can watch that guy play the position of QB and come away thinking he isn't great. 6 years in the league, 6 AFC Championship games, 2 regular season MVP's, 3 SB appearances, 2 SB MVP's, 2 Rings. He's accomplished more in 6 years than 99% of QB's will accomplish in their careers, and he's only 28, he's got many more productive years ahead of him

Great post Val, but even the Jets have Garrett Wilson, he's better than anything the Chiefs have at receiver

Yes, Wilson is better than anything the Chiefs have. It's kind of like the Bears case as the receiving corps has no depth. But then again, when Zach Wilson and Trevor Semian are throwing you the ball, what can you expect?

Guess who leads the league in dropped passes as a team?

kane

Sometimes the line tells you the "right side", giving Mahomes 4.5 looks too easy, they're begging you to take the points, I have a future on the Ravens to cut down the nets, and this line makes me feel pretty good about it

The Chiefs leading the league in dropped passes isn't surprising given the lack of talent they have at the position, but it's interesting the top 5 teams in terms of drops all made the playoffs, I'm sure those teams throw it more than others, but still a bit odd, the Niners with only 9 drops, wow

This year it is their defense. They wouldn't even make the playoffs. Defense kept them afloat and Mahomes has gotten hot late.

Yes, this is the first time in Mahomes career where the offense wasn't elite, and their D has carried them, but it's not like their offense was bad, 9th in total yards, 6th in passing yards, but 15th in scoring, a lot of it can be explained by their bad receiving corps, but this wasn't Mahomes best season either
