Good Evening bigcountry,

Sorry for not getting back with you about this sooner, just got in. No question is "dumb" (unless one is trying to be a smartass) and if you'll take note from the beginning of the thread, I do answer them (I might have mist one or two over the course of the season and to those people, sorry) prior to my next posting.

As for the particulars of your question, here is your answer. The 100/127 means risked amount to win amount - in this case I risked $100 to win $127.

Thanks for looking and good luck the rest of the season and with football.

Re: PacMan's 2007 MLB Thread

Oh yea good luck to you to by the way

Not a problem and thank you. There are a few/some who don't like when a person uses a non-normal method and is or has been doing well. Those types of people only chime in when things do not go the way a person capped a game. Every board has them, after a while one figures out who they are and get the last laugh. :cheers

Good Morning incomeraise,

Thanks for stopping bye and asking. Matter of fact, yes I do use a SIMILAR type of madness/method/system for the N.H.L. but do not have the time needed to post on the various, let alone one, message boards as it is overlaps the t'bred and M.L.B. seasons. Something to always remember, past results/winnings do not always guarantee future success but is a good indicator. BOL the rest of the season. :cheers

incomeraise,

Like the method of selection process for M.L.B., I will not list/say/tell what the formula is for the N.H.L.

I will not be posting my N.H.L. selections this season on any message board.

Last season's M.L.B. and N.H.L. were close in win percentage/rate (within 1.2%) and amount won (within $1,000). This season's M.L.B. destroyed last season's N.H.L..

Hope this helps. BOL the rest of the season.

incomeraise,

Sorry you feel it is sad but I have to do what is best for my family, close friends and self first. From mid-December to May am extremely busy/wrapped up with a horse meet. While there were less than ten days off from this season (M.L.B.), the track runs 5 times a week. I know, more time off. At first one would think so but it is not the case as there are more items to track/record/keep and you must update them daily (longer days) or you might miss out on a potentially large payoff the next race day. Generally speaking, during the first couple weeks of the meet the stats take only about 2 hours a day. By January '08, they will be taking around 2.5 hours and so forth (a half hour per day per month of additional time). Call old fashioned but still keep records with pen and paper but have been offered some help to use a spreadsheet for M.L.B. - this will take me much time to learn the how to's before even thinking about using it solely. For those that can, great and good for you but it might as well be Latin or Greek because it doesn't make sense.

Something that I have not seen mentioned here is the importance to take a break and get refreshed from the daily grind(s). Aside from the All-Star break this season been going daily since mid-December last year with one venue or another. I'm telling you flat out, the daily grind takes it toll and the only way to reverse that is to take some time off. I'm fairly certain their's at least a couple solid N.H.L. capper's here at EOG. It may take you a while to find them but keep looking. Think about this, spring training starts in February :+excited- and get to do this all over again from day one of the season. :houra Thanks for the questions and comments, need to get back to the AZ/PIT game.

Re: PacMan's 2007 MLB Thread

PIT won tonight 6-5, adding $6,000 to the account.

Final regular season records will be listed Wednesday along with a few comments.

Re: PacMan's 2007 MLB Thread

Final Records 2007 M.L.B Regular Season
EOG: 436-412-3, +$65,618, win rate = 51.415%
All: 484-454-3, +$69,420, win rate = 52.211%

To the owner(s) of this board,
Thank you for allowing to post the daily selections for this past
season for without you, there would not be a place to share them
with everyone.

To the mod's,
Thank you for making the thread, for the most part, trash free. Your's
is not an easy job with all the traffic and posts this site receives.
Whenever I had a question about anything, I was given a quick response
via e-mail. That's something some boards need to address which puts
this place far ahead of them.

To the viewers,
I appreciated the comments and questions in the thread and did my best
at answering them in order in a timely fashion. If there were some
that were missed, it was not intentional (unless you were being an
asshole). Hopefully, you all made some cash along the way. This may
not be how everyone else does there M.L.B. capping, but it works just
fine on this end. During this season the listings were posted on over
a half dozen message boards taking more time than planned for. For
next season, this number will be cut in half. It is unknown at this
time which boards will not have the '08 seasons M.L.B. thread. Time is
the one element that can not be regained. Each and every single board
in which the selections were posted had a positive cash season ranging
from $11,039 (limited to either risk/win $500) to $69,420 with win
percentages going between 49.695 and 52.211. There was one board in
which the day's action did not start until shortly after the All-Star
break - selections there made $34,116. Yes, M.L.B. is the best sport
from this person (although did have help at times posting). Next on the daily agenda will be a six plus month track meet that begins mid-December.
Best of luck to all in the post-season and winter sport(s) and see you
again come Spring Training.
