Yesterday on the fever pregame show they showed that fever home game ticket prices have risen 188% this year and fever away game ticket prices rose 289%.

The suns sold out their home game yesterday for the first time since their opening season in 2003.

Camera showed many "22" jerseys in the stands

Interesting to note that the fever ownership suddenly has money to charter the team to away games.
 
Much like Maravich as a pro, she's on a bad team. Much of her 10 turnovers, trying to do too much. The coach needs to figure out less ball handling for her and set screens to free up her shot much like Denver does for Murray. She's a good passer too, with the screens and sucking in two defenders it will open up P&Rs.

Hopefully her career won't emulate Maravich entirely.

It's up to the GM to get players that compliment her style because the hysteria will die for a perpetual loser.

CC is so valuable that as an opponent I routinely let the golden goose torch us for 30+.

And then talk fanatically at the presser about how unstoppable she is......

Social media today is brutal....geez it was her first game. The team is not good, the Sun is a elite defensive team.

When Mitchell gets healthy she will move to the point and CC will be the shooting guard which will benefit both.

But we will see how long it takes her to get to the healthy side

I don't think Taurasi will guard Clark.

Either Natasha Cloud or Kahleah Copper are much better options.

Cloud, an Alpha female, gladly will take the assignment.

But I agree with Winky's sentiment about Taurasi "getting up" for a game against a Caitlin Clark-led team.

Here's one way the WNBA could have "fixed" the games for Caitlin: the Fever schedule over the first two weeks of the season.

To open on the road against Connecticut and then face New York in back-to-back games was pure folly.

Like a good boxing promoter, you want to build your client's confidence and credibility with some easy victories at the start of the career.

How about easier home games against the L.A. Sparks and Minnesota Lynx before a winnable road game in Chicago against the rebuilding Sky?

Do not let Caitlin see the Aces, Liberty or Sun until the Fever are 3-0 or 4-0.

It happened right in front of Boston as she barely moved to help clark up and didn't say or do anything to the women who fouled clark.

Like it, or not, Clark is the team. If someone did that to anyone on the Mercury, Taurausi would be in their face and stick up for them. Says a lot about the team.......not in a good way

If this happened to Jordan, Luka, or ANT their teammates would respond in an instance. Not women. They either don't understand or don't care.
 
She doesn't need the WNBA- that shit league with a bunch of animals. She can go play overseas or wherever she wants. The endorsements will still be there.
