No I lift now and ride the bike a few times per week....got down to 150. 178 now but I've put on a good bit of muscle over the last year so a lot lower body fat %. Never gained any strength with lifting before because I was afraid of going back to what I was before.
Getting started is always the hardest part...hard journey but well worth it. No feeling better than a nice rewarding workout...more energy and upbeat. When I don't exercise for a few days I feel crummy now.
