She executed a squib kick in which the opponent received the ball at the 35-yard line.
If he returned it 50 yards, did she kick it?Seems like ESPN did not report the full story here.
A story at ESPN.com declared Fuller as the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Here's the way the story read: On Monday, Fuller was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.
But in truth, Fuller shared the award with the deserving winner, Kadarius Toney of Florida, who returned a punt 50 yards for a touchdown.
Ugh.
You'll get over it JK...Onward and Upward
ur all hot and bothered over something called an SEC special teams player of the week award? grow a trio
It only looks like a pooch kick because she has no follow through; no extension. It’s an embarrassment not only to kickers on Vanderbilt, but other players on their women’s soccer team who likely could’ve given a better effort. She’s a frickin goalie.
you know what follows this ?
Robert Griffin starting a game since 1900 with a bunch of backups at 2:30 central on a Wednesday?
Lol you guys are up in arms over a team who none of you can name 2 players of. They're 0-8, they just fired their coach, they had 4 opt outs to focus on their academic paths pre season. They have the lowest pass D efficiency in the power 5. They lost their kicker, their backup kicker and their punter has never kicked.
Get over it guys. It's a small story if it wasnt the SEC and hadn't been publicised because of Missouri and UGA opponents. New mexico did the same thing 10 years ago. There are alot of little girls out there who are inspired by it. She can be laughably bad but it's one game more and that's a wrap on the season for her and vandy. Who knows maybe we get some sexy kickers in the future.. hopefully in the MAC

It’s a big story because woke ESPN (who has the SEC network) says it’s a big deal, and we should embrace it. It’s the cancel culture in reverse. So a Power 5 conference team couldn’t get a person at the end of the roster to squib kick a ball 30 yard? That’s the saddest part to me.Lol you guys are up in arms over a team who none of you can name 2 players of. We need to return to the glory years of an all womans football team where they wore bikini bottoms, that was only a few years ago.
the outrage is off the charts
Sarah Fuller nominated for courage award after Vanderbilt football debut
Vanderbilt kicker Sarah Fuller, the first woman to play in a Power Five college football game, was named this week's nominee for the Capital One Orange Bowl-FWAA Courage Award.
It was announced by the Football Writers Association of America on Wednesday.
Odds of her winning an award at the ESPY’s?
